Meet the Team

Anyone else going? We got tickets within our season ticket book but we also got tickets in the preseason bundle. Does that mean we can invite extra people? The tickets aren't marked with a bar code or any sort of account information, just says "admit one." If so, I have 2 extra passes if anyone wants to come tonight.

I'll be there. Sounds like you could hand out those extras.

If I get out of work early enough I'll be going. I missed it last year so if work gets in the way this time around someone in upper management is going to get his coffee mug, stapler, tape dispenser and laptop superglued to his desk.

nice. I text my boss to get off early last night, he said it was okay and then the compressor at work blew up so the techs won't have anything done for me to stay late for anyway.

I'm hoping they do it the same way as last year and make it a free for all instead of handing out tickets for tables.

Yeah it does sound like that. If any of you would like to go or know someone who would, seriously - tell them to get in touch with me. I would just hate for them to go to waste since we have them.

I didn't get to go last year but I went in 2008 and they had those tickets to tables (once everyone did that, it was an unofficial free-for-all where they didn't look at your ticket anymore) but it would be nice if, like PredsChick said, they didn't have any tickets at all.

I want a full report so I have something to read once I get home from JB Welding office supplies to desks...

...because super glue just wasn't hostile enough.

Nice touch. I hope you wore latex gloves so there are no prints.

Had a great time tonight. On a side note my friend was wearing a team Canada shirt, which he got signed by Weber, anyways when Suter saw it he immediately started ripping on him i laughed hard for the next ten minutes telling my friend that Suter hated him hahah Ryan told me about 3 times to let him just walk home and to not give him a ride.....Classic

Had a great time tonight. Suter was funny, he was making jokes about my friend and what not. Weber was awesome to, really seemed to be an awesome guy. It was also incredible to see all the decked out watches the players had.

SK looked like a scared kid tonite. I didn't think anyone could look any more babyfaced than Jerred but SK comes close.

Good to see the guys and hear the energy from them.

and that's why he's my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

My sister and I have had this thing for the past couple of years where we yell out "Sko' Ward" when he's on the starting line-up or when he scores or randomly when we're walking to the game. It come from "Let's Go Ward" and then evolved into the 3 letters, anyway, my sister asked him to write "SKO" before his autograph and then had to explain. He laughed and didn't act like he thought we were lame at all for it.

and Lindback remembered almost killing me with a puck during training camp when my friend had him sign the puck.

No, just seems hockey players have a watch fetish. Dex actually tweeted a picture of a drawer full this summer and said he likes to match his watch go his outfit!

Having over 50+ watches, I can relate.

My wife thinks I'm crazy, but I wear a different watch everyday to work and can go nearly 3 months without co-workers seeing the same watch on my wrist...

Sorry for the OT remark.

I wish I could have attended the Meet The Team Party.
