Question For the Chicago Board on Nick Leddy

Hey guys, Oiler fan here.

I'm wondering what you guys see in prospect Nick Leddy. I've seen him play in the preseason and he has really impressed me with his defensive play. Do you guys see him on the team this year?

Thanks in advance!

He will get a chance too stick. He will be in opening Lineup and 1st Month till Soup comes back from injury in a month or so. Then they will make a decison on whether AHL or he stays. He will play Top 4 at start of year with Hammer replacing Soupy.

Most expect him to get sent down to the AHL when Campbell's available. I think he's looked solid in pre-season, but it's REALLY tough to expect a 19 YO d-man with no pro experience to step into a top 4 role. I'm hoping that he plays 15-20 games, doesn't struggle to bad, learns a lot, and goes to the AHL to play a top-pair role and add some weight.

If your questions relates to fantasy value - I'd stay away unless you're in a keeper league, and you can afford to sit on him for a couple of years.
