You forgot Hinote who is centering the 5th line tonight!

Also, pretty weird position for Blomqvist I mean how many prospects play their future club?

I'm going to the game, its a 1 hour train ride.
This should be a walk in the park for CBJ.
I'll try to post something about the game afterward.

This seems like a waste of time. They're playing a bunch of teenagers and the Jackets have nothing to gain from this. If they blow Malmo out, they'll probably pick up some lazy habits. If it is close, it will be "Oh no, the CBJ can't even beat a high school team!"

Hopefully no one gets hurt and the game helps to get their legs under them.

I'm going to the game too.

Malmö's line-up for tonight (* = junior player):

Forwards
27. Carl Söderberg - 4. Roger Ohlsson* - 44. Nichlas Hardt
42. Jan Urbas - 21. Jesper Mattsson - 17. Lucas Sandström
10. Robin Alvarez - 20. Marcus Olsson - 24. Tomas Larsson
9. Sebastian Dyk* - 59. Victor Svensson - 67. Victor Öhman*
71. Pathrik Westerholm* - 86. Ponthus Westerholm*

Defensemen
39. Robin Weihager - 3. Anton Blomqvist
7. Jesper Damgaard - 8. Patrik Hersley
6. Per-Anton Lundström - 33. Patrik Nevalainen
15. Henrik Sandmark* - ?. Emil Carnestad*

Goalies
30. Jonatan Bjurö* (31. Markus Svensson)

Players to look for I guess, outside Blomqvist, are the leading scorer Söderberg, 4-time Swedish Champion Mattsson and the junior players as Malmö got a lot of promissing youngsters born 1992. If Malmö somehow pulled off a miracle and kept the game close, maybe we will see one of them being drafted by Columbus.

This should be fun. Here's hoping we use the game to figure out a few more things leading into the season & that nobody gets hurt.

So this game is like the first four weeks of college football for any major conference team?

(For our Swedish friends & those who don't know what I'm talking about, the first few weeks of the NCAA College Football season, with few exceptions, consist of top-level teams playing and blowing out lower-tier opponents nicknamed "rent-a-wins" in the hopes of picking up an easy 3-4 wins.)

Love the theme. I went to high school with Jason Lively that played Rusty in this Vacation movie. With the Viking MOJO flowing we win 7-2.

GO JACKETS!

Great post, better than what I've been reading on Puck-Rackke... At least I now know a few facts about the Malmo team to make the game interesting.

+1 ... this team definitely needs more Swede.

Jackets better win this one by at least 4 goals. If not, I will change my name to "blahblahJR" and spread the word about how much trouble this franchise is in.

Malmo

I hope you guys know that Malmo isn't a team from the Elite league .
They play in the 2nd highest league here in sweden and are in 5th place with 10 points in 6 games so far this season.

Blue Jackets - Redhawks 11-1..

Most know, the Jackets should win this game but if they don't Malmo could be in division one before sunset (in N.A.)

Aww... they gave Stralman an A. Probably Juice and Sammy too. I don't want that for the reg season, but it's a nice touch.
