I'm a bit surprised, I liked what I've seen from him in camp.

Kennedy looked lost on the ice. White's a cap casualty. Happens.

Don't like the waiving of Kennedy, personally. Don't see whats to be lost by keeping him as a scratch/4th line LW.

Surprised by Kennedy being waived, not surprised by White...too many redundant centers on this team.
If Prospal hits LTIR, this team will have a ton of cap space. That's something we're not used to.

Would love to see Kennedy in Hartford, but fear he might be claimed. We'll see. White could help out the Pack as well.

I think the fact that they waived BOTH of these guys means there's a trade coming. I think its clearing cap room for Souray.

Please for your sake pray to GOD that this isn't true and you don't end up with both Guerin and Fedotenko. Take it from a Pens fan that seeing both of them shift after shift made me puke last year.
FedEx might bounce back, Guerin is without a doubt done.

The only way Guerin is or should even be considered is if Prospal is done.

Problem is that I don't think he made himself a role on the team. he didn't outplay anyone in the top 9, and isn't physical enough to fit into what they seem to want on the fourth line.
I like him but he just didn't have a role on the team

Partly a cap casualty and partly it's that he didn't do anything wortwhile on the ice.
edit: Guerin would be retarded. Even if Prospal is out, the team still has a ton of forwards, with guys able to be recalled from Hartford

Even though we dont need souray. There should be no reason to acquire his full contract. I'd take him at half price but that would require him to go on re-entry waivers, and i doubt he would make it to us to claim him.

I'm shocked Kennedy was waived.
If nothing else he's a good player for depth/injuries.
White I'm thrilled about being waived.

Glad they are getting rid of White but I'm surprised to see Kennedy waived so soon. I thought he would get a chance to stick around until Drury/Prospal return. Then again, he was outplayed by other players in the bottom 6.

Haha. Every move the team ever makes is always a precursor to a trade.
Slightly surprised about Kennedy, not White though.
