Yeah, fast food jobs are awesome when you work with people you love.

So many A&W stories that shouldn't be repeated :haha:
But now that a lot of people moved on, it sucks, and I'm looking for a new place. I did the whole eaton centre game, no where that looked appealing was hiring.

Call centres yes.

Phone sales where you can get commission? Not bad if you want to start a career in sales. Some firms give you qualified leads which is far better than what you'll deal with at call centres. If it's one of those financial services companies, avoid. However, I just recently landed a job where it's selling internet marketing packages, and considering that's a booming industry, I'm excited. Much better than my previous sales job in the electronic components industry *shudders*.

I study at UdeS too. Actually, the deputee studied in the same faculty as mine. But you know what's worst? My riding is actually Beauce. Yeah... ouch.

They'd buy me out after my first shift. I skate worse than Pierre Dagenais and Darron Langdon combined. Ever wonder how PK got so good at skating? They showed him tapes of me and told him to do the exact oposite of what I do.

What concentration will you be at ENAP? I'll start my second year there this fall, maybe we'll have class together.

AS for jobs I'm kind of in the same boat as you are. I'll let you know if I find a good tip.

Good for you, you won't have trouble finding an internship or a job.

We may have 7304 together.

And this. The PFETÉ program is awesome. I'm currently hired with the CBSA, hoping to get bridged full time by the end of my degree.

Government jobs are, with a Political Science degree, your best bet in life.

I'm looking for a sales job, anyone knows some compagnies that hires people with less-to-none experience in sales?

Everyone tells me I should go in Sales but can't find any jobs to apply on.

Thinking of purchasing a Kobo

I'm thinking of purchasing a Kobo, I'd like to know if there's anyone on this forum who has a kobo who can tell me what they think.

Thanks.

I do and I have to say that I haven't read an "actual" book since. Not sure how much of an avid reader you are, but the biggest difference for me is how much lighter my bag is now that I have a Kobo (before had to lug a few paperbacks/hardcovers at a time when I was close to finishing one - or when going on trips)

Let me know if you have any specific questions

I'm planning on reading Stephen King's whole collection. I just want to know if the any pros and cons on the kobo. I probably buy at Walmart and get my 10% discount.

E-reader will come and go like palm devices , your better off investing in a low to mid ranged tablet like the samsung galaxy tab you can get one with no contract for 349+tx. It's a computer and it comes with all apps to buy books if that's what your in to.

I don't need a tablet, I already have an iphone. I have no use for a tablet when I only want to read books.
