J. Jagr 2.0 ? But really, some of the dangles where just as casual as Jagr's. Looks really easy for him to get past even multiple defenders. Armia seems even dominant at times. Unbelieveable for a 17 year old rookie in a pro league. The steal of the 2011 draft?

Uuuh Jagr gets me excited. Let's make a serious comparison:
OJ
Jagr
Armia
Can you see it? Not even close to Jokinen. OJ has nothing on the top of his head. He has just mind blowing mustache.
Take a close look on Jagr and you can see Armia definitely has the Jagr potential. The color doesn't match but look at the style! The potential is there between right shoulder and right ear. Armia is not ready yet. He will have loooong trip to reach Jagr, I think the difference is approximately 6-8 inches. If Armia works really hard next 2-3 years he can be just as dominant as Jagr.
Could be. A bit of a risk probably since he is still pretty raw (and Finnish ), but if he keeps up the good work and developes like he has over the last few years he very well could become a good NHL-player.

Edit. I would say that (around the 10th overall pick) is a good spot to take him, and well in many many rankings he has been in that area also.

He was rated second in europe after Larsson. At best he has been rated 6 or 7 and having a good season, don't thiknk it'd be a reach at all if he still awailable.

Minnesota needs scorers more than anything. This guy seems to be that type of player.
Minnesota will draft around pick # 9-13. This guy is slated to go in that exact range.
Minnesota loves the FINNS, and a Granlund - Koivu - Armia line has major potential.
Thus, Armia will get drafted one pick before Minnesota, and the Wild will end up taking another small D-man, or another small playmaking forward. = another crappy year for Minnesota.
thanks! I thought it was the captain who wore it, but after watching that and what I feel with most European players at first is the adjustment to the smaller NHL rink. Armia has some sick dangles but he would need to adjust to the size of the rink so he can translate those moves into the NHL rink
Reminds me a lot of Alexander Semin, same great shot with a real quick release and both have those real quick and smooth hands while sometimes trying to dangle to much through defenders

This. Same long stick, but he lacks the speed and elite-level shot (although it's great as it is).
The player who wears it the most rounds, gets a money price from the sponsor of the said helmet (can't remember the amount right now, possibly 4 figure sum).
Explosiveness, vision, puck skills and quite a nice wrist shot. Looks a little bit of a perimeter player though, from this video? Or is that a misleading impression?

I'd say 11 is right about where he projects right now. But it wouldn't be a big surprise if he went earlier.
