IMO Draft spot is not a factor in young players devolopment unless it's too high.
Exactly. In fact, I think the best thing for Armia would be getting drafted in the bottom of the 1st round by one of teams, that don't have immediate need for improvement. Vancouver, Wings, Philly, Pens etc. Armia still has a long way to go to become an NHL player, but he has that untapped raw potential.

Why do finnish teams need to have a guy wearing a gold helmet to know he is the leading scorer? I mean... in the NHL, you just look at a stats sheet before the game, and then you can assign checking based on that.
A gold helmet reminds me of the fox puck highlights...
This thread needs more "Look at zhem jerseys man, zhey look like nascarz!!!"
I actually don't mind the golden helmets, maybe because they have been around forever, they have become an integral part of the Finnish hockey culture. Sure it's a dumb gimmick, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing one of them on Armia's head.
