Top 50 NHL players today (we have 3 of them)

They are:

Pronger
Richards
Carter

in that order, here is the link to the article (which I think I linked it to where we are on the list):

We have Shelley, OD, and Walker. That's all we need.

I'm reading the thread on the main board about it. There's actually some bandwagon Hawks fan with a grand total of 12 posts and the username "PaddyK", which pretty much tells the whole story, and he's trying to justify Toews at #3.

I wonder if I should drive him out of the forum like the last one, STR8OUTTACHICAGO. Probably not worth it though. These people self destruct pretty soon anyway.

Some strange stuff on that list, and the Hawks are definitely being overrated and placed way too high on that list. Then again, I was kinda surprised not to find Kane in the top 10 as well. Not that I think he should be, but that's what I expected some sportswriters to think he should be. :X

Keith and Doughty are so overrated, I also fail to understand how Kopitar is ranked higher than Lundquvist and why Weber apparently is better than Pronger.

Yes. Jonathan "69 points" Toews is better than Malkin, Sedin, Datsyuk, Backstrom, Zetterberg, and Parise.
My God ...

Toews is by far the most overrated player in the league. I don't even feel like taking the time to justify it anymore because it's getting so ridiculous.

I was watching TSN and when they started with Sharp at #50 I figured the list was a bit wonky.

I think Giroux will be in top 50 right after this season.

Once I saw Toews at three, and Stamkos at ten, I closed the browser. That list is facepalm worthy.

I think this list is of who they expect to be in the top 50 this season. Richards and Toews are so similar yet they're so far apart on the list it's incredible. No way Toews should be expected to be higher than Malkin or either Sedin.
