Hopefully Kessel will continue to dominate the Sens and Orr continues to destroy Carkner (love an occasional sideshow)

Wonder is Spezza will play. If he doesn't I think we can definitely grab the win. Pascal has virtually no confidence after last year, I bet. I expect a better game than last night, too many turnovers.

I think the Toronto Maple Leafs will win this kessel has been exceptional against them and their defense is way worse than it was last year with the dparture of Volchenkov that being said their offense definately takes a step foward but Leclaire is a duck we can win this guys ottowa plays two games in two nights YEAHHH GO LEAFS GO

Ottawa is on a back-to-back. Or that shouldn't really matter this early? Would be huge to have back-to-back wins before they visit Pitt on Wednesday.

I don't know who is worse Carey Price or the collection of stiffs Murray has assembled to tend goal for the Ottawa Senators.

Leafs get the win and Orr gets another TKO over speed bag Carkner as all the bloodthirsty violence loving Leaf fans at the ACC cheer wildly.
Did you live under a rock last off-season?

You do realize Heatley called all the shots..right? If he didn't like where he was going or what the deal was all he had to do was decide not to waive his NTC.

There wasn't much Ottawa could do in that case. Murray got the best return he could considering the situation. If Cheechoo returned to form the trade wouldnt look so bad and although Michalek struggled last year, he could still have a bounce back season this year.

Oh I get what you were saying now, I misread it. Ya, it was a tough spot to be in, didn't Oilers offer alot more? That's messed. Demands a trade and refuses to waive it for anyone except the Sharks

- Kessel with 2 goals and 1 assist

- JSG with a shutout

- Phaneuf with a fight and win

Yeah. The Oilers offered:

Cogliano
Penner
Smid

Would have been great. Smid is a solid young defense, Penner had a great year last year and has the size to do well in front of the net and Cogliano would have been the perfect 3rd line center for us.
