I don't even know what to say anymore, I've been following a lot of Norfolk games (and other teams' games) this season, and well... this is just beyond spectacular. They're even pulling off comebacks against top opponents.

If they started winning on a regular basis I'd be more impressed by a little streak like that.

Wow, Coach Coop put it perfectly in one of his ba-zillion interviews he has done lately

"This lockerroom is full of characters that have characters"

The first 30 mins had me asking myself where was the team that just won 21 in a row. Then little Dimmen got into a fight and broke a guy's nose who was at least 1/3 size bigger than him the game turned around.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ewWXhYRUNs

What a game, what a team

Also, umm Scott Jacksons beard has a twitter account now... its kinda scary. @Jacksonsbeard

With Hershey's loss tonight to St Johns Ice Caps, the Norfolk Admirals just clinched their first ever East Division Championship Title. I am not good at magic numbers but I believe the magic number for Admirals to clinch the eastern conference is 1 and overall league title 4. Admirals have 6 games left, so not factoring any other teams wins or losses, they only have to get 4 points out of 12.

According to the AHL, the odds of such a streak happening are 1 in 4.2 million.

Is a 22 game streak really that impressive? I mean just last week I am sure I heard there was a team that got to 21. and there was a team that got to 20 just a few days before that...

So I just heard that some AHL team won 23 games in a row or something like that. Probably is just a fluke.

Bunch of scrubs who couldn't even make it to the NHL.

It's not that impressive if you think about it. It's just a team that's strung together ten 2-game winning streaks, and one 3-game streak.

What do those odds mean though? The odds from a LV bookmaker, or the odds based on quality of opponent, travel, schedule, etc? WTF are the AHL doing making odds?

There are "1 in a million" things happening to everyone every day, and we never give them a second glance.

Norfolk's games against Binghamton tomorrow and Saturday may have a live stream. Someone over on the Sens board has been streaming Bingo games for awhile now, and hopefully that's still the case. I asked in the Bingo thread just to make sure.

I would be cool to see the Ads pick up 24 and 25 to keep the fluke alive.

Thank you!

This color guy on Admirals radio is...interesting. Don't think I can listen to him much anymore.
