Jesus. Thought Loui made it 3-0. Close but wide.

Not much. Maybe he bit the inside of his mouth and is bleeding?

Also, Ribeiro moving his feet frantically but going nowhere amused me much more than it had the right to.

Just thought I'd mention that Brad Richards leads the NHL with 4 points right now.

Wandell took a stick or a puck to the face, but looks fine. That's good.

decent first period. I'm delighted with the score but the mental mistakes were present in full force and almost lead to disaster a couple of times.

Need to really cut down on the mistakes, and the rest will take care of itself. Atleast the Stars look great when they get possession in the Islanders' end.

I love this feeling when you can trust your goaltender.

IMO they are far less annoying than the Devils duo.

Richards defending = Terrible.

Isles should've scored.

That was a whole lot of Richards-Niskanen fail on the first half of that power play. Boy that was bad.

The Islanders are noted for their ability to put pressure on the PP D-men and have done this before. It's not Richards-Niskanen it's the strategy that Josh Bailey uses to PK.

e: That said don't put Richards-Niskanen or even Richards-Daley out there, put Grossman or Robidas.
