Ott loses the faceoff, Isles score from the point.

And with all the momentum lost by the PP failure, they turn around and give up a goal that last year would have been called soft since it came from the point.
Four of the five guys on the ice failed on that one. Ott let the faceoff go to the sideboards instead of back, Benn lost the puck battle on the side boards to let the puck go back to the point, Robidas didn't control the front of the net and Lehtonen showed the weakness of a butterfly-style guy (top corners).

Puck floundering a lot in this period.

Neal needs to make every decision about a half beat faster, but at least he's hitting tonight.

I swear, if you put him and Ribeiro on the same line they could just cycle the puck for an entire period with as calm and quick as they are with their thinking.

According to the Isles broadcast, high-sticking isn't a penalty if it's accidental.

Niskanen, seriously. You can't keep the puck in against the guy with no stick?

Ribeiro has done that move every time, and it finally works. God I'm loving Ribs and Morrow being back.

Great pass by Ribeiro again and Morrow had it easy.

Ribeiro loves that pass. Same as last night with a little less elevation.

Absolute lobotomy by Ribs. The Isles defender looked pitiable.
Parenteau was putting on a clinic earlier on how to defuse your own team's oddman rush.

In his defense, Sim bumped him seconds after he got rid of the puck. Seems like the refs are picking and choosing what to call as usual. I just hate when they don't tag both players in those kind of situations.
