Amazing that it took a replay for the Sens fan to notice the imaginary stick that Carkner fell on.

Sigh. There was no stick. Carkner threw a left that glanced off Orr and sent him off balance and he fell. A fairly common occurance in fights.

Where is this magical stick that Carkner tripped over?

Heh, I think Carkner getting "sent off balace" has a lot more to do with the right Orr fed him.

Edge Orr.

And just because it wasn't a beatdown does not mean that a winner cannot be declared.

If you're worried about how HF "nerds" rate fights, check out hockeyfights.com where the consensus is also that Orr edged, if not flat out won, the fight.

Edge Neil and win Fisher in the other two fights, though.

Watch teh clip again. At 16 seconds Carkner sneaks a left under Orr's arm that seems to connect as Orr's head snaps back, while Orr throws one that misses, as his fist ends up on Carkner's name tag. Carkner falls from teh momentum of his punch. It's simple physics, as Pronger would say. I'll give you that Orr might have tagged him on the way down but it's hard to see because the ref is in the way!

I dunno who saw a stick, there certainly was none. Carkner fell on his own. It was an average fight, hopefully the first of many rounds this year!!

I've watched it about a hundred times now, while he MIGHT have slipped, Carkner through an arm punch, not one you put your whole body into. Just my opinion (not saying it's anymore right then yours) but I think Orr had more to do with it.

You serious though? All I see around 16 seconds is Orr clip him over the left eye area and throw a couple more before landing on top of him.

Frame 2: Carkner throws a left that seems to connect more or less, as Orr's head/helmet snaps back.

Frame 3: Orr answers with a right that misses over the top, as its clearly shows his fist and forearm over Carkner's back. Carkner went down because of teh momentum of his punch. It wasn't because of Orr's right, because it didn't land. At most, he might have shoved him in the back of the neck with his forearm, but that's it.

rofl you're so bias it's disgusting. Show the frame about .5 seconds before that pal. You know when Orr hits him right in the face and than your little pictures come in right after and they fall to the ground. Click on the image once and then again for it the larger size. I did this quickly as I really dont need to waste time on this as it's clear cut for most people.

Owned on the scoresheet and in the fights. Why does carkner even bother? How many times does he need to get popped before giving up?

Pride. I know when Orr knocked him out, he wanted to go again just to try and redeem himself.

OMG guys! I glimpsed a replay and saw it wrong! Lets all mention it!

Either way, to call that a clear win is a joke.

What are you trying to argue? Are you saying the punch Orr threw in your picture sent Carkner down? You said yourself it takes place just before the sequence I showed, genius, so how can that be?. Are you saying I invented the sequence I showed? Yeah Orr seemed to have connected with a short right in your pic, but then Carkner came back with a left, and tehn my sequence took place. It's irrelevant. I have no clue what you're trying to argue. I was pointing out Carkner went down because he threw a left and lost his balance as a result, which I celarly showed in my pictures, regardless of what happens in yours. =

Save your facepalms for your fan base.

You stated there was basically only one punch landed that really connected. I showed otherwise.

Carkner lost as everyone is stating. Get over it, put down the kool-aid, take off the goggles and breathe the fresh air.
