It was more of grit and grind and getting plays to the net off loose pucks that were hunted down off chip-ins. Getting the power play, it was a critical moment in the game, and just good composure with holding onto the puck and making some plays. Kopitar holding onto it, drifting up top and then getting it back to the net. Zeus makes an unbelievable play. He just turns his right foot and the puck deflects and there is it for Williams with a tap-in at the back door. So it was great to tie it up at that time."

Calgary is a really bad team and on paper we should win, but its the second of
a back to back in a building we have trouble winning in. But these are the types of points you need to take, don't want to be sitting in April fighting for a division title or seeding and looking back at the schedule at the two points we missed out on in October when we lost the 14th place Flames.

I think they take care of business

Kings 4
Flames 1

Coming off a 4-0 loss to their rivals...and at home I would say the Flames would win this. But I forsee a 4-2 Kings win.

Let's see if Giordano continues to dominate Brown, he lit Brown up both times they played in Calgary last season.

Also, this is going to be a tough game, no games in the NHL are easy. Calgary got pounded in their season opener and they're going to come out flying, Kings better be ready. We had a tough, long, exhausting game last night, I hope the boys are up for tonight's challenge! Let's get another W

We will have to wait a while since he is scratched after getting knocked on his butt in front of everyone.

I want some toughness tonight. I don't care that we played a tough game last night. I want to see some grit, I don't want to see the kids pushed around, and if they are, I want to see them push back with a vengeance. The future is now and it is time to claim it. Bring the reign! GO KINGS!

This is one of those "should win, but might not" games, particularly on a back-to-back. Kings are gonna have to strike first and get a buffer. I think a long drawn out defense/goalie duel will not work in the Kings favor.

Yup, this is a great early test for the Kings. Watch out for Iginla tonight, good test for Bernier and Schenn.

I don't know what to think of this game. Kings played well last year on the 2nd game of a back-to-back, Flames are coming off a horrendous game, Doughty probably partied to hard after the game...oh well, kings win, 9-0 Kopiscar with a triple-hattrick.

I see the top line having a pretty productive night offensively. Since they will actually be able to attack, rather than defend the ginger kids.

I just heard that the Kings-Flames game wont be televised on Fox or center ice, or any other channel in LA.

Is that true? If so, does anyone know if there is a free stream available for that game online?

I have Directv and just checked the guide for FSW. It has the game listed.
