Article about fun times return to Oil dressing room

The Hockey News website has an article about how the Oilers dressing room attitude has changed. Sorry if already posted. I also was unable to figure out how to post a link.

I've read several stories about this, yeah.

The fact that the ping pong table was absent for nearly five years just blows my mind. Were Moreau and company allergic to fun?

They must have got itchy and broke out in hives when Greene and Reasoner entered the room.

Explains why they are now a King and Panther these days.

I think most Oiler fans knew for the last few years that the old bitter club had to go. I can't say I'm surprised that with the youth movement and a new fresh feel, fun has re entered!

I only have one Question.

Where is the original Ping Pong table and how can I get my greasy hands on it?

Either that or Bruce Saville snagged it

It's a CP byline but that's Brownlee's article. He expands a little more on ON: http://oilersnation.com/2010/10/12/t...whats-it-worth

He also said the old table "was kind of lost in the shuffle when the old dressing room was gutted and renovated".

The old table was signed by all former Oilers and auctioned off. Wouldn't surprise me if Bruce Saville does have it- he has his basement designed exactly as the old Oilers dressing room

He also said the old table "was kind of lost in the shuffle when the old dressing room was gutted and renovated".
"While I was waiting to interview Horcoff this morning. Hall, who sits next to him, was laying prone on the floor stretching right next to us. Being easily amused, I made a motion like I was going to stomp the prized rookie.

That immediately drew a reaction. "Brownlee, leave the kid alone," growled Steve MacIntyre as he left the main room for the back. "Don't make me smack you."

I wasn't sure if MacIntyre was smiling or grimacing, like when he's loading up that right hand. "Uh, Taylor. Tell me if Mac comes back through that door, will you?" Better safe than sorry (and unconscious)."

I LOVE YOU MACINTYRE!!!

Man oh man. I know it was in jest, but it's nice having an enforcer who knows and believes in the role.

What a horrendous crime concerning the former ping-pong table...how could something with SO much history and identity be "misplaced" or "lost in the shuffle?"

The Edmonton Oilers kept the old locker room door that the former greats used to bash on their way out of the locker room but didn't hold onto that ping-pong table???!?!

That ping pong table was more valuable than Cogliano.
