1 goal down, 19 more to go Olesz. Then maybe we'll like you.

Only thing that would have been better was if that had gone in off Ballard. That would have been great.

Not a good period from us. Bad decisions, we can't hit the net, we need to check more, we need better lead out passes not just dump it out of our zone and pray we get it

That goal might actually end up going to Santorelli.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw it go off of a Vancouver defenseman.

Its quite simple if olesz actually goes to the net and tries he can actually get over 20 on the season. HE HAS TO WORK

Olesz is like a grumpy child.

If people hate on him and shows no confidence, he'll just keep being grumpy and refuse.

But when he gets a little responsibility and trust...

That's how I see it. :p

Ok then, fire our owners or Tallon because I don't know if you've seen our roster, but umm, we suck.

Lovin' the fluke.

And if olesz is our best player on the ice, can we just hold off on the negative stuff towards him.

I mean, sure, he can't convert a chance for his life, but at least he's generating them. That's how you score goals and change momentum.

The only goal weiss has generated was the horcoff goal last night.

Anyways, we've won every period so far this season. I like that. As long as we battle hard and do some work, i'm a happy fan. (this year only)

Oilers fan here dropping in to say the Panthers look damn good. They severely outplayed the Oilers last game and were very unlucky to come away with no points in that game. Just to show how well I think they are playing right now... I put some money on the Panthers to beat the Nucks in this game tonight.

I think Florida may surprise a few people this year if they keep playing like they have been here early this season. If the Panthers can finish just a few more of their many opportunities that they're getting they'll be in good shape to be in the mix for a playoff spot imo. Still very early of course but that's the feel I get from watching them so far.

Oh I couldn't agree more. I actually like Deboer as a coach, firing him would do absolutely nothing right now. I like the structure of the team thus far through these first two games. We definitely should have come out with at least a point last night and tonight we're right in it going into the 3rd, there really isn't much more Deboer can do with this lineup.

Good hustle by Bernier. Typical Olesz type finish again.

Have we gone down to using 2½ forward lines now?
