Toskala in Finland

I see him 2 weeks ago in Arena to sign autograph with minnesota wild player here in Helsinki, he said he training and staying ready, also take time to see what he should do.

He is still in Helsinki?, or back to Tampere maybe?, any decision yet?

I am supporter of his, want him to continue play.

Anybody know?

Don't know but I would love to see him back in the SM liiga. I think he still has the stuff that he showed back in the day with San Jose. Toronto is a place where you are either made or broken, and unfortunately in his case..

Thanks for reply, somebody care at least

I have friend from Tampere who say he is there with his wife Marjo, and he still wants to play in NHL. Because he is only guy left, if someone get injured he get's call.

Maybe like waiting game?

A waiting game is probably the best way to describe his situation.

I think more than likely he's gonna go to the KHL.

He could have already signed as a back up with Calgary but ended up rejecting their offer because he wants more playing time.

The SM-Liiga and the SEL can't afford to pay him what he wants.

Unless he's willing to take a huge pay cut to play as a number # 1 goalie in Finland or Sweden, I believe the KHL is where he will end up.

Good luck to Vesa.

Good luck to Vesa.

I think he declined invitation from Traktor early in summer.

I will wait and see!

if niemi gets released and turco takes 1.3, what is vesa thinking? take what you can get and build on it

he barely has anything to back up what he was earning as it stood

I do not think he is looking for high price, or many dollars. He want to play, 1 million from flames, but he want more than 20 games, and difficult to get many games behind Mikka. Same behind Backstrom, he did not accept Minnesota for this reason.

Signed with AIK in Swedish Elitserien.

They say he's not the starter, but with good performances he might become it. The started right now is Viktor Fasth.
