Awesome. He drank a red bull for breakfast, spiked up his hair, then took his lamborghini out to buy some sick Affliction t shirts.

Mike Green is always awesome. He just has days that are less awesome than others.

You need to adjust your Mike Green kitchen camera feed. It was a muscle milk!

Very glad to hear BB use a version of a phrase I always do. Pleased, but not satisfied.

Apparently some here can't understand the difference as criticism within success comes off as not being "happy".

Way better than me, who found a 3+ year old bucket of chocolate flavored protein with the label removed when I moved a month and a half ago. Rather than buy a new one, I'm just using this. I have no idea when I got it or what brand it is. Go me.

I drink the light muscle milk as a late morning snack the day after I lift. The little juice-box serving size is 20g of protein for only 160 calories, and I get a lot of calcium from a lactose free source, which is important to us lactose intolerant types. And it tastes damn good for a protein supplement.

My wife doesn't want to take the P90X recovery drink as she's still nursing our infant. So that's what her nutritionist recommended.

Finishing up week 1 after the newborn and pneumonia. I can't feel my legs.

my recovery meal is usually a skinless chicken breast and a small can of organic green beans.

I can't run these days because of my foot, and I can't do the eliptical, and I can't do the arctrainer. I can do the recumbent bike, and I can swim. And sometimes I can't swim because some little brat crapped in there and they had to shut it down.

I'm contemplating ditching cable at the end of the month. Any gamecenter subscribers here? What do you think of the service?

Specific questions:

Is the quality good enough that you can run it out to a television?
Can I start watching a game from the beginning after it's already started? Or do I have to wait for it to be archived?
How long does it take for a game to be archived?

A big problem for me is that I have 3 teams getting local coverage here, so there's going to be quite a few blackout dates.

I've been doing P90X for about a year now and there's only one workout I have trouble getting the motivation to do, and that's Legs and Back... and that's today's workout.

I haven't tried it, but it sounds like hockeystreams might work better for you than gamecenter. They claim to have better quality and no blackout dates, and are significantly cheaper. They have DVR functionality and a catalog of past games that you can watch, including the most recent one as soon as it ends. They are based out of somewhere in Europe, so the NHL can't do much about it. I'm going to sign up for a month or so to try it out once this NHL Center Ice free preview ends.

Back to the Capitals, Vogel posts that Green is out against Nashville, Poti and the other day to day guys are still day to day...have to think they call someone up from Hershey if Poti is questionable...perhaps Fahey?

In related news, with Boyd Kane returning from injury and Souray expected to play tonight for Hershey, Hershey was going to have to scratch an AHL vet so if Fahey travels to Nashville that also solves that dilemma for French for this weekend.

Corey M tweeting a bunch on the goalie situation and quotes from Boudreau...my guess is a goalie tandem article coming soon...

The Carlson write-ups the last 24 hours are worth a read for those who haven't seen them...including Katie C and Corey M., and the info. in the Kevin Allen link posted by Strungout.

The kenpo to me is an "off day". Legs and back only has the one "kick" exercise and its the 3-way squat at the mid-pt. Nearly every single one of the squat exercises you can add wieght. 10# makes a difference when you're doing one leg squats.

edit: also this exercise program isn't a huge mass building plan. so if you want thick legs then its not for you. But explosive movements for sports is what is the focus. Nearly every exercise in this program I used to do with my trainer in LA during leg days and also given similar exercises by the Kings trainer during fantasy camp.

As I joked in the Isles GTD, Fahey + Sloan + Erskine is a good way to re-injure Varly in his first game back!

*note understood Varly might not get this game but that line-up could persist.
