Mike, you'd better not disappoint me and not cry at this. I will be disappointed if you're still not entirely predictable like that.

Benn = concussion from Islanders game.

Top two lines are Morrow-Ribeiro-Burish, Neal-Richards-Eriksson.

Other two lines are contingent upon health and who's wants to play center that night.

That was ridiculously bad defense by Segal to let Franzen just go wherever he wanted.

Can still barely hear in game feed - not just me.

Fire The Ticket and get a radio station that knows what the JFK they are doing!

Heh, ridiculously obvious pick by Franzen. The Wings love that play, and I love seeing them get called on it.

Refs take pity on Franzen after his encounter with Fistric.

What's been the story with all these short delays before faceoffs this period and then people getting kicked out for seemingly no reason? Is Crawford just too slow in changing the personnel?

I don't know what he was griping about to the ref. That was shoulder on shoulder with him as the most recent puck carrier, and Fistric mostly missed him.

My guess is it's winger encroachment that's getting guy's kicked out. Slow changes are DOG penalties if the ref thinks it's intentional and shouldn't have an effect on a guy getting kicked out of the faceoff circle.

Is this Neal's second penalty of the game? Does this mean we get to call for him to be benched?

Also, for being such strong skaters, the Red Wings have always fallen down awful easy.

ETA: Daley had a pretty strong PK set there.

I wish Daley could play like this all the time.

3 shots, we're going to give Anaheim a run for their money.

Grossman may have had some nice defending that period, but his shot attempt ... man ... I don't think he's learned anything over the years. The puck is passed to him. He catches it and starts drifting toward the net. Waits a beat. Waits another half a beat. Winds up. Takes a slap shot. Misses the net.

Hah, thanks anyway.

Good first period, but need to stay out of the box.

That goal was ALL about Neal's slight delay before feeding it down low to Richards. Greatness.

Wandell just got schooled by Datsyuk, but at least his desperation reach seemed to bother him enough to make Datsyuk lose the puck.

I'm liking what I'm seeing with Fistric carrying the puck.
