Yeah, no, we just suck there and have for years.

Why we can't figure out how to shoot the ****ing puck on the PP I dunno. We have three guys intent on passing the puck to Crosby and Malkin, who are double-covered. It wouldn't take an astro-physicist to fix this but for the Penguins its been a problem for 2 1/2 years. Put no one in front of the net and keep passing it to the guy blanketed by half the guys on the ice. Great plan, guys.

Throw in the fact that Sid & Geno have been invisible so far this year and Zbynek Michalek (out) and Mark Letestu have been our best players through three games and...yeah. The Penguins defense with Deryk Engelland in it terrifies me because he just ****ing sucks. He's a #8 defender in the #7 role because of the cap. Hutchinson...well he's a #8 too who none of us Penguins fans are familiar with so we just assume he blows ass. It won't be quite the white flag that the Devils presented us (you'll be skating 18 skaters and 2 goalies I assume...the Devies only skated 15 and 2 against us in our last game) but yeah...we'll have 4 defenders playing overtime and one of them is a rookie (Ben Lovejoy).

As a Pens fan I feel this is a game we should win, but we're without 2/4 of our legitimate defenders and our spares are garbage. It'll take Sid or Geno waking up for us to win this game. Mark Letestu can't be our best forward for a fourth game in a row...I love the guy...but...yeah.

Here's to a good game ladies and gents.

I think playing against Lundqvist would bring out the best in Gustavsson.

I'm hoping the Leafs can bring the physical component tonight. The Penguins believe it or not, looked as much, if not more, worn out than the Devils later in the game. Our aggressive forecheck should cause some problems after losing Gonchar. We should have a pretty good chance to win this game.

This is gonna be a tough tough game. Pens need to start winning but even worse their big guns are being questioned for lack of production. They also haven't won in their new building yet.

This game has the potential to end badly for us. I'm not sure what to expect really. Hope we win. But I would be ok with a strong effort in a tight game loss.

As bad as their PP has been, there's always a break out point sometime, I've been waiting for it, for a long time.

Last time they were successful both Crosby & Malkin were on separate units on the PP, and it was lethal.

Memories.....

I do too. It's interesting because I said the very same thing to my friend earlier today. Looking for their first win at their new arena and Crosby hasn't had a goal yet. And they're playing the Leafs. Couldn't be set up anymore perfect...

Because of the above video, I'll have no problem forgiving him if he massacres us tomorrow.

This game has all the signs of a royal ass-whooping, just because so many events are going against the Leafs. Pens are about to burst, I just can't see them taking a loss tonight.

I don't mind if the Leafs lose this one, I just want them to show up and at least leave a mark out there.

I never get tired of watching that. I prefer the Canadian announcer's call though, along with the rest of the video:

Can easily see the Leafs putting up a good fight and maybe winning if our big defensemen stick on Crosby or Malkin when they slide near the crease (which Crosby loves to do) and just have a forward keep on them in the neutral zone similar to what the habs did in the playoffs. Pens wingers suck.

I really looking forward to this game. It'll be a good test to this team to see how they play away from home and against what I consider the best team in the East - even if they are missing 2 good players on defense, and a pretty good forward.

J. Staal is usually the Leaf killer but Crosby certainly has been as much of a killer. Let's hope we can limit his scoring chances.

i would be surprised if wilson changed the lineup at all. considering how well everyone played the first two games i think they should keep going with the same lineup until they lose.

i know it sucks for the monster (and mitchell) but isnt that the point of a 1A and 1B goaltenting situation? play the hot goalie! giggy has looked great the past 2 games. i dont remember every starting off a season 2-0 let alone 3-0. 4-0 would be

go leafs go

It all comes down to TPBT (Truculence, Pugnacity, Belligerence & Testosterone) if the leafs can harness it i don't think the penguins' secondary players (as in not Malkin or Crosby) will be able to be as effective as they were last year. Also if Phaneuf can screen Fleury appropriately with his style of goaltending I think the leafs can get in enough to win it.

Actually, the Pens have been fantastic on the PP whenever Gonchar's been healthy, and awful otherwise.

And now no more Gonchar.
