Can we say this is a big game already?

Maybe not so much big, but Important....

i like how this article touches on the point system we have, something has to change....

Carey price is the key..he only had 13 wins last year. it would be nice to see him win the home opener..

You can argue that every game is important. Other than that, no it's not a big game, it's Game 3 of 82, versus a Southern Team.

The connotation of playing the Bolts all year will be fairly painful I assume, it already is before a game has been played. Not a big game.

if the habs put up a stinker tonight, and the bolts take a commanding lead, I won't be surprised of a small but vocal portion of the crowd starts cheering for tampa.

key game for Price's career in Montreal, no matter if we win or lose, If Price has a bad game, boo birds will be at full force the rest of the season.

For how close 6th - 13th is now in the conferences due to the 1pt OT/SO loss I hope the Habs take every game as high importance, because come April all these points will mean something.

It'll be a good test for our PK at this point I think. On paper they have a good couple of units so it will be a good test but as far as importance goes none more than any other at this stage in the season.

I pray for Price to have a good game, the crowd will let him know if he is bad and they will be fast on the trigger.

Who gives a **** what 150 idiots in the Bell Centre think ? As for Tampa Bay, bwahaha ! Please, they won't even be close to the Laffs, who will be in 14th at the end of the season. TB must be so good now they have all the new frenchies on the team !

Why is it always about Price, man you guys are unreal, every game is about Price in that "it's the game the defines his career" get serious, it's game three and there are 18 other skaters on the ice who need to play well, not just one guy, if you can't understand this stop watching hockey.

If the Habs don't win tonight, everything they have done in their 100+ years of existance will be deemed as irrelevant.

The game does have an added emotional element given that Boucher is their coach, the Desjardin/Ramo trade, and that it is the home opener and Price would help himself by setting a positive tome for thew season by playing well.

Beside these elements, it is just another day at the office.

Yeah, in all likelihood, Spacek will be playing alongside Subban again, and with Hammer back, Picard can say goodbye to round 1 of the big leagues.

Hamrlik's return should be a positive for O'Byrne. He has been playing with Alexandre Picard, who will be a healthy scratch against Tampa.

Not yet, he's like Boris the Blade

Seriously though, I would rather see Hammer with Subban than anyone else, I think I'd rather see an orange cone playing with him than Spacek.

I hope the crown won't boo Price.
