Since we have more and more swiss players in North America, I was looking for an overview but I couldn't find any summaries of our prospects and vets over there. So I decided to create one by my own. It's sorted by position and name.
I'll update this list every week by Monday/Tuesday.
Update: I splitted the list in 3 separate tables, based on leagues.
Update: Inserted links to player pages.

After Mod "Zecke26" named me some more swiss players I've had forgotten to add, the list became pretty long and the clear view was lost. We decided to make 3 separate lists for pro, junior and junior 'A' / 'AA' leagues.
Feel free to correct or add wrong/missing informations!
ps: It's pretty hard to find stats and player information for midget leagues, but they're not bad

Swissexpert,
We appreciate your inputs to this forum very much and surely you make a big effort, but sometimes your + - analysis are too vague. Therefore, I add some facts to your previous writing (and please do not get upset now, but there is always a bright side of every story :-):
+ D.Saikkonen ; as a rookie goaltender (!) he was the starting goalie against the Nr. 1. team in the Western Conference of the OHL, Saginaw Spirit (15-4-1-1) and faced 36 shots, 29 saves, despite their loss 3:7.
-----------------------
PS.And generally speaking; It is not obvious that European import draft goalies PLAY AT ALL in the beginning of their first CHL season, before get adjusted to the North-American style. Good example of this is the Russian "super goaltender" Igor Bobkov, London Knights (Anaheim, 3rd round draft 2009, Russian U-20 goalie). He have had 3 starts in 22 games so far.

First of all, thank you very much for adding your opinion!
I maybe have to explain my point of view. I watch many NHL games, sometimes even AHL, but I haven't seen a CHL/Junior game this season so my comments are only based on statistics.
The +/- thing is only a little note for me (and maybe some more) to remember how successfull their weeks were, because I always edit the list and don't have any copies. I have not many criteria to put a + or a - to a player's performance:
+: call-ups, back from injury, more than a point per game, a goal per game, about .930 SV%
-: sent down, get injured, 0 points in some games, something about .800 SV%
Very important: These comments are only based on statistics and my expectations.
-When D Schlumpf makes 0 points in 4 games, it's not a minus, because I don't expect that from him, he's a very good defensive minded shut-down defenseman.
-When J. Hiller loses 3 times with 4.00 GAA it's still not bad, I mean he's a #1 goaltender in the big NHL! But it's a minus though, because I expect more from him!
-I really didn't expect 1.50 points per game from S. Bärtschi, so he gets a + almost every week.
-It's very hard for defenders to get a +, but they neither get a - easily.
And for Saikkonen it's exactly the same, I only see his stats, and these are pretty bad, doesn't matter if he's a rookie or not. There are no veterans in the OHL.
He won just 3 of his 11 starts, was replaced many times and is dead last in the whole league in SV%, the most important stat for a goaltender: http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/s...ype/1/first/20
The fact that I'm a little disappointed by his season so far also shows how high I think of Saikkonen. Of course, his career and the story how he came over there and was the starting goalie is a huge success! But in a weekly review I have to rate his performance. 7 goals against isn't a good game, that's a fact.
Goaltenders get a (-) more often than others, because I kind of can see if their performance was good or not.
I can't put a defender like Steve Sutter on the minus list because 0 points in 3 games doesn't automatically mean he had three bad games...
I hope you see now how difficult it is to rate players just on their stats and please don't take these "ratings" too serious.

I appreciate your job, Swissexpert. It is not an easy job ... it is a hobby and the number of Swiss players abroad skyrocketed this year.
I was doing this before ... and it is not easy.
It is easy to do it once or twice ... but regularly is another question ... ! (specially in light of the new number of players to cover !)
Thank you torero! You did that too before? Just for yourself or in a blog?
It actually isn't that much of work. If you have the player bios together, you just have to update their stats. And as long as it's just once a week you still have some free time
I think MooseBlues didn't criticize this list, but more the update notes, and it really isn't that great of a review.
I could also do something like a weekly 3 star selection, what would be even more difficult, because you just can't compare Robert Mayer and Mark Streit etc.
Or I could just note the call-ups and injury reports from the previous week.
What do you think?

You are welcome ... MooseBlues did criticize but not nastily at all. He made his points with delicatess and logic aiming at a constructive direction ... . I wrote nothing against him. Rather something for you. To express recognition for the time you spend. To say that I appreciate your work. (and agree at 95% with the +/- )
A bonne entendeur !

I think the way you do it is fine. The problem with a 3 stars selection is that you limit yourself to three highlights and no lowlight, and as you pointed out, the players are hard to compare.
+M. Gerber stopped 35 of 37 shots in his first NHL game this season.
+S. Blindenbacher was called up from the Dallas Stars, NHL.
+A. Berger with 4 points in 3 games.
-J. Hiller with 3.66 GAA in 3 starts.
-R. Wick with 0 points in 4 games.
-D. Saikkonen let in 4 goals on 13 shots.
-N. Niederreiter with 2 points in 4 games.
+Y. Weber with 2 assists in 2 games.
+N. Niederreiter with 6 points in 4 games.
+L. Martschini with 5 points in 4 games.
-M. Gerber was sent down to Oklahoma City Barons, AHL.
-S. Blindenbacher was sent down to Texas Stars, AHL.
-D. Saikkonen was fired, new team to be announced (USHL?).
