Since I'll be at home for this game, I'll be making a mental note of how much everyone will be drinking tonight.

Quote:
DRINK: anytime Dan Terhaar misidentifies a player. ~ DeuceUNO
DRINK: every time Terhaar's voice crackles like a teenager. ~ TaLoN
DRINK: every time either of the announcers starts gushing about something a Wild player did that happened to be very routine. ~ TaLoN
DRINK: every time a Minnesotan accomplishment is brought up. ~ GopherState
DRINK: every time greenlay and terharr have a short conversation about when greelay played a game for the oilers ~ CT
DRINK: every time Greenlay says butterfly goalie ~ CT
DRINK: anytime "the greatest fans in the state of hockey" gets mentioned. ~ DeuceUNO
DRINK: anytime that 4 goal comeback against Chicago last year is mentioned or seen in a commercial. ~ DeuceUNO
DRINK: Every time the word "carom" is used. ~ Vashanesh
DRINK: Every time we're reminded that Tom Gilbert is a Minnesotan ~ Vashanesh
FINISH: If the team actually gets criticized. ~ GopherState
DRINK: every time someone mentions "great seats still available." ~ llamapalooza
DRINK: every time the announcers say a penalty against the Wild was a bad call, or a non-call for the opposition was a bad non-call. ~TaLoN
DRINK: every time the phrases "change on the fly" or "half wall" are used. ~ this providence
DRINK: every time the announcers say 'team of 18,000' in any form. ~ Generic User
DRINK: every time Terrhar start inexplicably yelling/raising his voice about a seemingly normal play. ~ countrygentleman
DRINK: every time Greenlay or Terrhar refer to Clutterbuck, Nystrom, Brodziak, or Madden as "Energy Bugs". ~ nickschultzfan
DRINK: every time our announcers say that Koivu is one of the most underrated two-way centers in the game. ~ AS74
DRINK: every time there's a Latendresse-Pouliot comparison. ~ AS74
DRINK: Every time Greenlay or Terhaar see the goalie rushing to the bench and mistake it for an upcoming penalty. ~ NHL1674
DRINK: every time someone says 'Clutterbuck.' ~ Timothy Freitag
DRINK: anytime the restaurant Apertif is brought up. ~ dutsk

Technically a lot of those people are foreigners or visiting from other states. Real Minnesotans go to a mall ending with "Dale."

Taylor Hall. Flashy, big name, brings attention upon himself.

I just tell the gal that the MoA is a high priority target so it's best that we should avoid it.

They used him at times last year, though. Hopefully this season he's there in a more extensive role. At least there's one guy on the set who tells it like it is and doesn't gloss over the details of the squad.

Well Laaksonen is still alive. That's good to know.
EDIT: Doesn't everyone else work for the team in some capacity?

If the pregame show was any indication, the drinking game will kill us all.

Well, we're all going out via either the drinking game or watching/listening to the pre-game and the two goof troops doing the game. Pick your poison, I guess.

I'll take the booze. The other option's torture in some countries.

I see the nasty cougar hasn't lost her season tickets behind the wild bench. This could get very interesting after a ton of beer.

30 seconds in and I already counted two drinks.

Also noticed 30 something (think it's 40 now) blond behind the bench.
