If we lose again tonight but "play hard" is everyone still going to say we're on the right path to making the playoffs?

As long as we play hard, and inch closer to the #1 pick, I have no problems lol.

Yup, I like that compromise. I like PDB as coach and would prefer he not be a sacrificial lamb on account of lack of talent.

Lucky Bouwmeester has a quarter of the heart, and fight, that O'Connell had, when facing the mummies, otherwise he would be the best ever

Anyone else get a kick out of the fact they have a former Panther on each of their top three lines and on their second d-pairing

At least this way Deboer will know the weak point on any opposing line

For some reason I really got a good feeling about these lines. I liked Booth-Matthias try out. Higgins-Weiss could work out and the veteran line should be good too. Hopefully with McArdle in there DeBoer will actually use 4 lines all night.

That Calgary team doesn't look very strong at all, this is a very winable road-game!

I don't expect much from this game, more of the same, no immagination going forward, just dumping the puck or taking shots hoping for something to happen, meanwhile outworking the opposition, while at the other end through a lucky bounce Voukoun lets 1 one in

A line with Rostislav Olesz on it never intrigues me. Odds are they'll create chances, and not score. Unless if the scoring chance just so happens to end up being Booth's.

I actually think we'll get a win tonight as long as they play with the same intensity as they did in the previous two games. Calgary doesn't look all that impressive and Vokoun is 12-4-4 all-time versus the Flames. I'm predicting a 4-2 first Cats victory of the season

I'll be at the game tonight, Bure white jersey on per usual. I'll try and give an in depth feedback of the players and game when I get home later tonight (most might in bed by that time so read it in the morning if you want).

Loving the predictions and can remember the Weiss shootout winning goal versus the Flames a couple seasons ago like it was yesterday I'm not sure if I'm all that confident going into this game, maybe a little moreso than the Canucks game. The Panthers start is so vital in a building like the 'Dome...if the Panthers start hot with great puck possession and draw a few penalties, the building's energy will be instantly zapped, even without scoring a goal early.

LETS GO PANTHERS!
