Sekera-Myers
Leopold-Montador
Butler-Rivet

90% sure it'll be this.

Too priceless.

Just keep Sekera away from Montador.

Sekera/Butler/Leopold - Myers
Leopold/Butler - Montador
Sekera/Butler - Rivet

I want to see:
Sekera - Myers
Leopold - Montador
Butler - Rivet

I've been a big Weber proponent, but none of the 3 defensemen stood out in the preseason. Of the 3, Butler had the best single game.

I don't think it is a big deal, because you eventually would like to get a look at both of them, but I think Butler makes more sense. He has been around a while and with the desperate need to get on track should be the safer choice. That isn't to say Weber wouldn't play better as that is entirely conceivable, but there is no reason to believe that to be the more likely outcome. The safe choice makes the most sense with the team in a serious funk. Butler also provides another option to get this damn PP going.

I can't speak for him, but in the preseason I watched Weber was far from remarkable in any game and pretty bad in all but one. The same went for Sekera and Butler, with Sekera showing the most of the three.

Not to say Weber isn't ready to play better, but anyone who saw the preseason would admit all 3 were bad.
