Who's guilty?

The second line has under-performed in the first three games, who is to blame the most ?

I think Gionta has been the least effective on the line but I am not voting because I am not ready to throw anyone under the bus yet. But he and Gomez need to step it up for the team to be successful so I really hope they find their gear soon. I'll give them a few more games before worrying about it though, but they (Gio and Gomez - though Gomez seems to be picking it up a bit last game) have looked listless and largely ineffective so far, unfortunately.

Again though, I will wait a few more games to see what they can show us before worrying.

Gomez and Gionta will take a few games to get going I ain't worried about them,Pouliot is playing well but is wasting too many chances,he needs to put the puck in the net

Gomez/Gio have the most accountability.

Although, removing Pouliot will be the lever Martin pulls first.

Those guys have the track record.

It's a collective failure. All 3 are guilty.

Gomez needs to pick up his game. 1 lucky goal and 3 shots in 3 games? Pouliot has been okay, but he needs to shoot more as well. Gionta well, it is what it is, he's responsible too and I hope they have a big game next game.

Gomez. The center is supposed to be the guy that makes stuff happens and creates plays. Gomez ain't creating anything. He doesn't even look that fast anymore, he just glides and gets pushed to the outside without a fight. So soft it makes me puke a little to see him wear #11 and get paid twice as much as Koivu made while playing with a tenth of the heart and drive. Sick to my stomach.

Just went to the Ducks game last night. Saku is still looking good. Wish we had him in the lineup still. SO much wasted money on this team...Gomez, Hamrlik, AK...

Pouliot was responsible for the bolts 2nd goal.. instead of shooting to the goalie, he made a pass to the bolt's player.. who then went to on attack then they score.

and he has no intensity on the ice.. looks so not confident..

the guy never involves in board play and can't aim the net..

They are all part of the problem
Pouliot has been the better of the three IMO
he is just not getting a break when it comes to scoring goals
which needs to change ASAP

What will it be next game when they get a combined 7 points?
And on Game #14 when they suck and finish the night minus 5?
And so on...

But fine, you may discuss. Have fun. My point of view is reflected in the picture I posted.

Pouliot has been the most dangerous of the three. Gomez has been solid. Gio has done nothing.

Not much chemistry yet between Gomez & Gionta, is a problem.

I can't stand Gomez as a player, I've never liked this type of player ever. I didn't like Ribeiro and Kovalev either. The all talent, little effort types.

The disappearing acts just turn me off as a fan personally. I can't stand it. I couldn't stand it last year, I can't stand it now. It's not just 3 games, it's been 90+ games of this crap where Gomez always appears to be saving some for later.

It's not "about Koivu", but watching him play that soft and with such little heart while he wears #11 is adding insult to injury for me.

Alright. I respect your point of view. You don't like him, you never will.

I don't see it the same way. No other player can carry the puck in the opponent's zone as well as him. It's been a while since we've had a player able to do this. It was always dump and chase and it sucked. I haven't seen him being lazy either.. I guess we obviously have different opinions on the subject.

Enjoy the rest of the season.

From worse to bad:
Gionta
Gomez
Pouliot

But that's is based only on 3 games. Gionta and Gomez will definitely bounce back. Don't worry.

He's the Hab with the most hits so far this year.
