Especially when it's scripted as it clearly was there between godard and Gillies. Essentially two useless goons that are just trying to meet their quota in order to justify their paycheck.

Weird that Bylsma in his interview today said that one of the biggest traits he takes into account when making the lineups is how few penalty killing forwards we have in the lineup, and then he goes and scratches Adams? huh?

I hope DiPietro's not hurt. He deserves to stay healthy by now.

If Im an Isles fan I'm worried about DiPietro getting injured even when the wind blows.

Easily the worst luck in the league. Did he play at all the past 2 seasons?

If last year you told me that a line of Rupp-Malkin-Letestu would get a good chance on DiPietro, I'd laugh a lot.

This team needs more center drives. Driving opens up lanes. We are standing around too much instead of driving through lanes.

I guess we now treat every situation as though it's a PP.

What the hell happened to the Rupp of last year?

We had our own appreciation thread for him and all.

Come on Mike...RUPPture that twine.

Was he really just that lucky last year?

i totally agree. i like TK. i just wish he didn't have a shoot-first reflex the second he touches the puck. Dood plays 110% energy every game. He hustles his ass off. I think somewhere deep down he has some raw offensive ability that could be milked...but DB doesn't seem to be willing to give him a shot over dupuis with the first line.

I'm not saying he's a legit top 6er....but he has to be at least on par with dupers... Sometimes TK does some pretty gnarly stick handling that makes you think he's got something in him...

I can't believe how much hate TFK got.

Now, he's everyone's mancrush.

Glad I stayed on his bandwagon

I have never bad mouthed TK. I've crushed on him for the past 3 seasons.

Still gotta wonder where he fits on this team though....

Can't wait for the "Cooke tried to take DiPietro out" threads on the main boards.

He's the best enforcer in the league. So as long as teams have goons, we may as well have the best.

When did Rupp become a penalty killer?
