Don't laugh. I missed the Devils game and have watched the others. I'm going to miss tonight and tomorrow (but will watch the games on delay).

If we win both, I may not watch again!

3. That makes no sense. Kennedy, Tangradi, Comrie, and Letestu are not the expendable members of the team. PK is important but even with all those guys we gave up two PP goals to Toronto and our bigger problem is providing our own offense.
Even with Adams scratched we have Cooke, Talbot, Dupuis, Crosby who were regular PKers last year. Malkin who used to be and Rupp who has taken a few shifts.

If anyone should be scratched its Rupp.
Rupp is currently the 5th PKer. So when Duper, Adams, Talbot, or Cooke are in the box he is necessary. I agree you can get around that with Crosby and even Kunitz. He seems unwilling to use Malkin at all. Adams cannot sit until Staal gets back.....he is the go to guy on the PK.

The Penguins worked on their power play. They used Kris Letang and Evgeni Malkin at the points, Alex Goligoski in the high slot, Sidney Crosby on the halfwall and Chris Kunitz in front of the net.

Also...BJ likely to get the start. Fleury sitting again.

Crosby, Kunitz, Dupuis, Malkin, Cooke, Talbot, Adams and Rupp can't sit bc of their roles on special teams. It is down to Kennedy, Tangradi, Letestu, Comrie, and Godard. If he feels Godard needs to play....Kennedy and Tangradi were better then Letestu in the last game. Although I could see sitting Tangradi also...he wasnt great.
How can you justify sitting out Letestu? He played badly against Toronto. OK. Who played well?

With Bylsma, if you're a rookie you sit. If you're a newcomer you sit. If you have sucked balls every game, but if one of 'your boys', you play.

Horrible precedent being set here.

Crosby was always a regular PKer Id say hes 5th making Rupp 6th.
Last year it was:
Staal Cooke
Talbot Adams/Dupuis
Crosby Dupuis

And yes Crosby Kunitz have played the PK. Also I wouldnt be suprised if Letestu himself could handle it as well as Rupp. Considering hes another RH faceoff guy you'd think itd be a good idea to get him started on that.

For a minute I though you were going to tell me Rupps "role" was bringing size and fighting and I was going to be pissed. If Godard plays Rupp should be the first one out IMO.

Not celebrating until I see Tangradi regularly in front of the net.
Also which points are Letang and Malkin on, anyone know?

Letestu hasn't killed at all in a long time.....if you read my post on page 1, I said Rupp also. I am just saying...these guys that don't kill penalties are gonna be playing every night for the next game...its just a fact.

The whole point of having a forward play the point on the PP is to have four forwards out there. How sad is it that we have nobody more skilled than Goligoski to put out there to actually have the full effect of the forward playing the point?

Sad sad sad.

Kunitz should take Rupps place as the 6th PKer. We need offense as much as PKing.

If Letang's on the right and Malkin's on the left, I'm going to have a meltdown.

Also:

Replace "Khan" with "Dupuis."

Something else that is troublesome...the fact Geno is not even an option anymore on the PK.

Not exactly maximizing that $8.7 million cap hit, are you now Danny Boy.

Id like to see Letestu maybe get a shot there, being right handed. Or two of Tangradi, Kunitz and Comrie.

He makes up for it by getting all he can out of Dupuis/Rupps 2 million.

I find it hilarious that we might actually scratch whatever scoring depth we actually have up front, just because we're anticipating a potential fight happening with one of the Isles' goons. You'd think we learned from last game that scratching someone like Comrie so Godard can see 3 1/2 minutes of ice is hardly a wise choice...

They are not....Godard didnt get the rushes. It could change...but it looks like he is the odd man out. My point is if Godard is not needed against Zonopka and Gillies...and against a team where the score often gets out of control.....he needs to go.

Shouldn't have to be either/or, though. Having Comrie in there is a no-brainer. If he goes pointless for the next 15 games, then cut his ass. But at least give him a chance to do what he was brought here to do...produce. As for Godard, again I like having him in the lineup...less minutes for him means more for Sid and Geno. And everybody plays with that added level of comfort knowing the Godzilla is on the bench.

It seems like Bylsma believes we have enough offense every night with one of Comrie/Letestu joining Sid, Geno, Kunitz, rookie Tangradi and Pas de mains (translation: no hands) Pascal. He's completely out to lunch right now. Which is where I should be right about now, too. I'm hungry.
