And to think our most dominant effort thus far was without Jamie Benn in the lineup.

Let's keep it rolling, GO STARS GO!!!

I don't mean to nitpick, but under the Stargazing section you forgot the word game when describing what Jamie Benn missed.

I think we can take these guys, although I always hate seeing us play St. Louis.

yeah St. Louis always gives us a hard time. This is one of the games where Dallas can really proove themselves with a great effort and a clean win. Most of their problems the last few years have come against these sorts of teams - in games the Stars should win or have to win.

The Blues are off to a good start and will probably be thinking this game is up for the taking. Dallas needs another great 1st period to take control of this game early.

St Louis is a very fast team,

this is the type of game where we need to be responsible with the puck especially in transition. Any turnovers with our game style of only leaving 1 D man back will burn us if we turn the puck over..

if we can limit turnovers I think we can hold them off..

I expect a big night from Ott, he's been pretty quiet in all aspects so far. Won't get to see it, but I'm calling 5-2. I pray Lehtonen's getting the start. That's a thing of beauty Ampersand!

I'll be pretty shocked if he didn't start honestly.

And I would fully expect us to lose if he doesn't.

After Raycroft's showing against the Blues in preseason there's no way Kari doesn't start.

Not so surprised Halak ain't getting the start, I was expecting Conklin to start, after the performance Halak had last game. So I would say we have the edge in nets tonight if Kari is playing which I don't see why they wouldn't play him.
Stars - 3 OT
Blues -2

GO STARS! Start 4-0-0!!!!!!

I've heard it's Conklin as well...

If it is Conklin it's not much of a step back from Halak anyway. Conklin is one of the top backup goaltenders in the league.
