Were we watching the same game?! What was so fantastic about Eller? I mean, I love the kid, but that was not a good game for him (he even got frustrated at some point, talking to himself and all)...

Can you imagine how good he could be if had Louis Leblanc's playlist on his iPod? Dominant.

23 shots is hardly peppered. Price was great when he needed to be, which is what you want from a number one netminder.

It was a good road game by the team.

Where does Gionta go?

Who takes the tough matchups?

Exactly. If Price plays OK, the Habs lose. I don't like that. Every game has been a 1 goal game. Don't like that either. I want to see thsi team beat someone convincingly.

Ugly game. Both teams looked off except for the goalies.

Anyways, 2pts are 2pts but this is one of those games I would have been happy to just PVR and do something else fun.

Still, would've liked to see more puck possession at evens, but they WERE on the road against a pretty good team, so... larger-than-baby step.

I thought they both looked great but the difference was that AK had some offensive support while Eller was alone and thus had to try and force plays that he had no chance in succeeding in.

As much as people might not want to hear it, Gomez has been atrocious and he needs to either wake up or be replaced with Eller.

I'm feeling pretty good about this team.

All of our offseason acquisitions are looking like smart ones right now, and Price is doing pretty well so far, overall.

What I particularly liked about this is that we won a game where our top two lines really didn't do a whole lot. And against a division rival, while on the road, to boot.

Looking forward to tomorrow night's game.

That's pushing it a bit. AK46 was our best forward.

But I agree with the rest. He's excellent at protecting the puck and also goes to the net (and not fall on his butt while doing so).

he's proven to do well in short doses as a top 6 player, even going back to last year.

Is this tongue-in-cheek, or do you really think we have a terrible team?

I think our team is a bit inconsistent offensively, but other than that, I like what I see so far.

I agree. AK was very good. Gomez, not so great. But you got to give Gomez a little more time to click.. He didn't play much in training camp.. He's got to find his timing. He's only played one game at home so it's still early.. We can start complaining more in November if he's still playing the same way.

I thought both teams were far from their "A" game.
