Is there anything better than the smell of gravy while it simmers on the stove with the meatballs and sausage? I don't think so.

Really, try going to Victor Cafe before a game. It's in S. Phila on Dickinson St. They have opera singing waiters. If you tell them what you are looking to do they'll have a waiter sing to you girl while you take out the ring and drop to a knee and propose.
Or, you could have them bring out the ring with dessert or a bottle of champagne.

Good luck!
Don't listen to this guy. It's not cheesy. My fiance was so surprised. It was great. Had a bunch of our friends there too.

And that is surprising how? Isn't McCartney like one of the owners of Apple?

Don't do it... please don't do it at a sporting event.

Think of a place that's special to the two of you, and do it there. Or do something romantic at home - I have a few friends who were proposed to in the most amazing way at home (guys, get your minds out of the gutter!).

Every time I think of marriage proposals I think back to Cal Ripken's book he put out years and years ago for kids...like a little mini autobiography. He proposed to his wife with a scavenger hunt type of thing (somewhat played out) but ended it real cool with a self-constructed light up board asking "Will you marry me?"

I tried to get it going a few pages ago with my "Mac in blackface = Freddie Mitchell" revelation. Didn't work out too well, but the resemblance was so uncanny that I think they got Freddie to play the part. Absolutely hilarious episode, they went back to their roots and outdid themselves. Almost helps make up for this season being the ********* one yet.

Still loving his decision to turn down The Expendables because it wasn't highbrow enough for him.

I think someone hacked my ebay account. Just got an email of "recommendations for you" from them. Nothing but Sidney Crosby memorabilia, shirts, jerseys, and Penguins crap. Ugh.

Doesn't ebay send you recommendations based on your location though?
