haha, that basically just kills it. we've always had pretty good discussions when they've occurred (before Grumbles McKillfun here ruins it ), but i get the feeling that anything discussed in there would be as stimulating as swimming in a cesspool in july.

I couldn't even find the thread...I only looked quick though. Just seeing the thread titles was enough for me. I figure if it doesn't get passed over in whatever thread it's been relocated to it'll get molested TSA style anyway.

What if I have a sudden urge to discuss the compelling similarities of the modern American Empire to the Roman Empire of the Republican Era? Is that a political discussion, or a historic comparison?

Am I just being an ******?

edit: why is ****** censored? ass i can get, but bag?

Hypothetically if someone enjoyed being groped would that still fall under the political umbrella of the site?

It's a shame there can't be a political thread on the Flyers board. I don't often get involved in them, but at least with all of us talking amongst ourselves, there's a level of respect and civility. You know, which actually makes it a decent discussion.

Who doesn't? Like in many aspects of life, it all comes down to who the groper is.

as for groping, i prefer being groped by females, but if its a dude with small hands and i don't see the groper, what's the difference?

I know. You and I have disagreed, and, nonetheless, it has always remained civil.

Sorry, GKJ, I wasn't aware politics was off base. And was the TWA thing "political" because it's a topic that the president is discussing? I'm not trying to be facetious; just don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Shucks, I need all the posts I can get!

Yeah, exactly. Because here, we're all more or less "friends" and not internet bullies trying to bash our own opinions into each others' skulls.

By shafted you mean Evan Turner can't make one of two free throws to end the game? Or Jrue Holliday fouling John Wall on a basically half court jumper? In other words Sixers gonna Six

Turner should've made at least one, yeah. But that foul call on John Wall? Did the NBA change since I stopped watching it? What a ***** call. If that's what Bettman is trying to turn the NHL into... yikes.

Sixers are the city's negative karma for having three pretty solid teams.

I just laugh when I watch the Sixers Elton Brand got ejected because he decided it was a good idea to push somebody in their waste when they went up for a rebound.
Give the Sixers a couple more decades they'll come around.
