Tonight Barker was -2 in 13 minutes of icetime and took a bad holding penalty that led to one of the goals tonight (He got on ice shortly before it was scored) and misplayed his man on a 1 on 1 that led to the 3rd and final goal of night

I also learned from browsing there GDT

- They call Barker "Pylon"
- They hate Madden and think he is awful (He is also there #3 C ,,, At this point in his career I think he is more suited for #4 C)
- They all find Havlat to be disappointing ,, Some are complaining about him being a floater

Ladd and Buff aren't Hawks anymore but it is nice to know they still haunt and punish our rivals

Fun read

That was excellent. Satisfying to see that the pain of their defeat still haunts them. Makes me miss the big guy.

I made a thread asking Oiler fans how Fraser has looked

From sounds of things he really is not winning over many fans

Fraser traded from CHI to EDM... many Oiler fans were told they'd love him and would be a great 4th line center. Has yet to show that.

Pisani traded from EDM to CHI... many Hawk fans were told they'd love him and would be a great 3rd/4th line winger (if healthy). Has failed to show that yet.

Both Ladd and Buff scored on Niemi tonight! Buff with his first goal of the season, can´t believe they´re using him as D.
Ladd has 5 points in 5 games...welcome back at the trade deadline Ladd!

Send a message via ICQ to DisgruntledHawkFan
Did any Hawk fans really say that Edmonton would "love" Fraser? Guy is an adequate fourth liner that's a below average skater and can't win draws. His positives are sound defensive play and the willingness to get his ass kicked by whichever middleweight comes along.

Pisani is a solid fourth line wing that is only catching flak because for awhile Q insisted on using him in a role he's simply not suited for.

Regarding ex-Hawks goalies, Khabibulin is off to a strong start despite the DUI. Good for him, fans chanting "DUI DUI" the other night .

The Habs are kicking themselves for letting Robidas go too, believe me, you ain't alone. Also, Arnason and Calder are nowhere to be found on the list. That's got to be just a little tragically ironic.

Notes:

- I miss Andrew Ladd. He's still our player we miss the most, if you ask me.

- I don't miss Kris Versteeg, surprisingly.

- We fleeced Minnesota in the Barker trade, officially.

- Letting Madden walk is looking more and more like a good idea. (I've watched a few Minnesota games lately while I was up North)

- Tyler Arnason is still employed? Shocker.
