Let me know of any mistakes, or line up changes.

Edit: I'll be out for most of the day, so if someone spots a updated line up, post it, and I'll put it in ASAP, but wont be back until later in the day. I waited long enough, and works gotta get done.

UM... did you make that opening picture for the GDT? If so - great work! I like that added touch.

Really excited to see Sarge.

He'll get a nice welcome, I'm sure.

If Billy G got a standing O, Gonchar will get showered with panties and roses.

Anyway, awesome GDT. Hope we absolutely destroy them. It's time for a Malkin hat trick.

I think the fans will. I loved Sarge but it was time for him to move on. His half assed "checks" (pardon the pun) during the Habs series were the final nail in his Penguin career coffin....

Ya, I put it together, but some stuff is stolen(Destiny & Legend headers), and I made up the rest. I didn't feel like redoing the Gonchar pic. too fit better in with everything else.

Thanks CP, and rest.

We sure are playing a lot of hockey in the early parts of the season. When will we start seeing the breaks for the rest of the teams to catch up?

Edit: And Happy Bday Odds!!

Oh, I definitely agree. It's more about what he did for the Pens in the past ... At the price he wanted, it was time for him to go; and I can't fault him for taking that price if someone (Ottawa) was willing to pay either.

He's a great former Pen, and I'm just hoping he'll get some recognition.

After the mess last season because of the Olympics, I love this every other day is a game. Schedule last year was brutal with 3 days off here and 5 days off there.

Ugh.

Edit: they get a three day break after the Blues game.

5-2 Pens.

Crosby hattrick
Malkin 3 assists
Martin 4 assists
Gogo 2 assists
TK 1 goal
Comrie 1 goal(en)

Johnson 16 saves, 18 shots against
Leclaire 28 saves, 32 shots against

Gonchar...0 points.

i really hope comrie isnt buried on the 4th line... he's my first goal pick em.

not to mention him being there is useless. let him float, he's not as big a floater as sykora was and he's been creating chances.

but like i said before, thats what we get with a grinder as a head coach.

I'd like to see a Fleury rebound after sitting 2 games and get a shut out. Obviously, if he doesn't play, Johnny getting a shut out is ok with me too. 3-0 Pens.

Malkin, Gogo, Comrie with the goals.

Im fine with the early tight hockey, especially with how this team is playing currently. The lack of team strategy/identity will ether sink or swim this current team with early tight schedule. Also with the series of injuries we have again at the start it will allow guys that maybe normally do not have to step up really go a notch higher and be role players later in the season.

In almost every thread I have been pessimistic of this team, but its not out of spit, its out of wanting the strife they are currently going through to push them rather than define them. I am hoping this tough early schedule will push them.

Even though Johnson is not Conklin I hope they ride Johnson till he has a loss for a few more games. Give him 4-5 starts then afterwards let Fleury have 4-5 and see if it likes a fire under his ***.

The Consol better cheer the **** out of him.

I'm sure most fans will cheer, but you're always going to have those few who don't know right from wrong and will start out with a boo and then realize "oh wait, we're cheering."

Ironically, these are the same fans that scream "SHOOT" when there's clearly no opportunity. Oh yeah, and the same ones that ask "Does Mario Lemieux still play?"
