Isn't that the truth.

That has the makings of an all out royal rumble in the stands.

Maybe I should go to the game, not a fan of isles or habs, but I rather see isle's win... habs are snake bitten when I am at their games, like 0-12 or something.

Even at their home games, they always lose.

Please, go to the game. Jinx them.....lousy living in Tejas....

Whatever mojo this team has going, I just don't want it to stop. The more points the Isles get NOW, the better off they'll be come 'playoff push' time.....when Streit & Okposo are back.....

I'm a Canadian and a Habs fan, but if you put .72 cent beer night for that game, I'd travel from Indianapolis just to beat on some quebecois.

this is the new reverse psychology marketing plan behind the Islanders, piss off the opposing teams fan base and make sure they come down and buy a ticket, they know it is pointless appealing to the Islander fans, once this gets word in Montreal you better believe they will come down in buses and pack the place

This is a perfect night for a Long Island Appreciation night promo. The Isles can sell tickets for ten bucks to those who can show proof of Long Island residency (Drivers License) and then during the game when the Habs fans start acting up we can chant.....YOU PAID TO MUCH! clap.....clap....clap clap clap YOU PAID TO MUCH! clap....clap...clap clap clap... OR.... WE PAID TEN BUCKS clap ..clap ...clap clap clap

If they had a discounted beer night I can almost guarantee significantly better attendance. Never understimate the power of cheap booze.

Hopefully No Habs No night is also the night where Cammelleri gets CLOCKED. If he only got a 1 game suspension for he did against Nieddereiter, the Isles should put Cammy into IR for at least 3 more.

See, this is the type of retribution that I don't like. You heard stuff like this before the Chi/Buf game. If someone cheapshots one of your players, don't stoop down to their level. If I see Islanders taking runs at Cammy all night I'm going to be pretty disappointed. You want to take care of business? You let Knonopka fight him and be done with it because believe it or not, you've got a hockey game to win.

On the contrary. This 1 instance was good marketing but on the whole if he had good marketing people there would be no need for this ad as NVMC would be more full for games than it is.

They've got 1 beat reporter that you have to pay to read and are on a college radio station where games can't be heard 17 miles west of the arena they play in. It's like they don't want people to follow them. And they wonder why NYI fans don't show and why other team's fans take over and why they have to place ads like this.

If there are any fights in the stands it will be caused by Islander fans.

I have been to every Isles/Habs game in LI for the last 3 years and anytime something goes down it is started by one of the MANY "gangsta" or "ghetto" Isles fans that we have on Long Island. The Habs fans always mind their own business and just chant crap the whole time.

Then you'll get the retarded Islander fans who yell "Go Back to Canada!"...meanwhile half of our team is from Canada lol
