There isn't really much point in having a defenceman dressed if he isn't going to play...If the coach doesn't trust him enough to even give him a shift in the 3rd then that could bring the team down too.

Thats not to say that Lebda has to play much, but we should at least have someone dressed who the coach will be willing to put out there

I'm worried, but Hopefully the Leafs don't take them for granted and can get a victory from them

Excited for the game.

NYI are a sick young team and if we take them lightly, we will get smoked.

we definitely have to play smart defensively this team lit up avs last game but avs have allowed a lot of shots against the last couple years if we can keep their shots to a minimum and play hard forecheck like we have been doing i think we give ourselves a good chance to win. any news of who will start for leafs?

I'm guessing Giguere will.

Centre Ice is free till the 25th of this month, since the game is on Leafs TV tomorrow, Can I get it on Centre Ice?

I pray we win, don't take them lightly Leafs. That would be amazing to be @ 5-0... don't change the line up, keep everything the same. don't mess with it, if it's not needed.

The Isles are young and trying to prove themselves not unlike the Buds. Haven't seen Bailey play yet, but he's been all over the hi-lites this year. Hope the Leafs don't come out flat. Tavares will be pumped playin in TO.

. GP Pts +/- TOI/G
Dion Phaneuf 4 2 0 24:39
Tomas Kaberle 4 3 3 24:20
Francois Beauchemin 4 1 2 23:10
Luke Schenn 4 3 4 22:28
Carl Gunnarsson 4 0 0 13:58
Mike Komisarek 4 3 1 13:13

Large gap in ice time between our third pairing and top 4 defense.

I think Gunnar is definitely sitting this one out and RW will use the Lebda/Komi pairing for who knows how long.... hope it works out better than what we currently have.

Not if you live in the Toronto viewing area.

Isles PP is good, but our PK is better than most that they've faced this year. If the Leafs keep up the hard forecheck I think it will give their D corps some trouble. Might come down to who's goalie plays better though.

Bailey has been GREAT from the games I've seen. Definitely need to keep an eye on him.

Wilson says he'll make the decision on Lebda tomorrow, but likelihood is strong he'll be in alongside Komisarek.

I don't think Wilson wants to go 78 games with only 5 defs.

If every game the Leaf's play is a test of some sort, this is the one about starting the game hungry, fast and intense.

I really hope they don't fail by taking the NYI lightly. It's ok to loose. Bound to happen eventually. But they need to compete each night.

Just like Crosby in the Pens game. But on the bright side you've learned when not to use an ellipsis!
