Nice GDT uncie.

I'm hoping we see the Pens play just like they did against the Flyers, beat up the Sens D and cut down their transition game.

Wish he did . . . even at his age, we sure could use him for the PP. Then again, I'm sure they'd put him on the right side of the ice, so never mind.

I'm hoping they have that old swagger.

Thanks, 66 & Cole.

I'm going to check around now, I used the line up from last game. We never have a clue until game day.

It'll be interesting to see our ol' pal Gonchar on the ice tonight. Even though I love me some Paul Martin, in a way I still miss Sarge. *sniffle* Well...particularly the healthy Sarge I mean...but Gonch is Gonch no less.

The man is easily one of my alltime favourite Russian players for sure. Even though he's starting to show signs of aging, I'll always have lots of nice Pens-related Sarge memories. And hey at least we had him (arguably) in his prime.

Since we're 1 and 0 and got our first home win the other night when I posted a trio of them...we need some.

3 bunnies
(hopefully tonight we'll have) 3 straight wins
Which'll give us (the start of) 1 nice winning streak.

Might as well get this out of the way.

Gonch will get my standing ovation from my living room.

A brilliant Pen, but it was time to move on. For both parties, indeed.

Crosby usually plays like crap against the Sens during the regular season, no?

Malkin's gonna bust out tonight. I can feel it.

Generally he does, but that was in part due to Phillips/Volchenkov, the latter is gone now, so perhaps better days are ahead for Sid against the Sens.

The Sens have some talent up front and on the blueline, but I like our chances if we pressure their D into turnovers and get pucks on Elliot.

Well Sids not playing both Phillips and Volchenkov anymore so that might help.

Look for an Engelland vs Neil scrap. Neil always stirs up trouble in front of the net complete with post-whistle facewashes and "accidental" bumping of the goaltender. Engelland, a dman, will not tolerate this. This fight is a "lock," IMO.

I don’t have an update on that one. But he’s working out and that’s where he’s at. And I actually mean day-to-day on this one. So I’m hoping he gets back soon.

Stay tuned to find out!

anyone else notice that if you throw a few cliches in, Bylsma really is a coach from the same mold as Mike Tomlin.....
