Yes no way this is happening.

bad for both...

Chicago gives up too much

also MPS looks like a good fit in Edm and they won't trade him.

The only way this deal works is if Pisani is on his way back

Ivan Vishnevskiy is on his 3rd team in two years, Krugar is nothing special, Bower's points are more reflective on who he plays with then his talent and the fist rounder will be over 20

so oiler fans comeback with

Cogs and MPS for Seabrook and Kyle Beach

I figure the Oilers are just starting their rebuild but it's a little top heavy. You get Brouwer to help now, as well as Vishnevsky, who would be great in your system. At least right there, you get two young players who are contributing, so no matter how MPS does with the Hawks, nobody is flipping out about the trade. Now, where I think Edmonton pulls the trigger. If you are trading a prospect like MPS, you have to get someone back who could potentially be as good as MPS. You get Marcus Kruger, an excellent young C prospect, among the games best. He could be a great playmaker for the other snipers is already a captain. You get the 1st rounder too, so you can draft a player of your choice at the position of your choice to complete the deal. Chicago gets MPS, who is a rookie on his ELC that would add an extremely talented sniper who would put the offense back on its highest levels from last year for a long time. We have 3 2nds next year.

I have seen Krugar play and I am not a fan

oilers have 3 young centers coming up that I view as being better then him.

the first rounder will be between 20-30 and it is not a deep draft

Vis is getting bounced around Dallas--Atlanta--Chicago--from what I gather--the question is about his size in the nhl and his ability to deal with physical aspect of playing D

Brower's numbers are soft

MPS is a blue chipper and everything being offered is fringe stuff

Ugh

Not sure

MPS is the best Likely

But I think we can get a Late 1st for Brouwer, + we give our own 1st, A above Average D Prospect, and I am high on Kruger. I think I respectfully pass.

Vish has good potential , Only reason he is on 3rd team is he was key prospect in 2 pretty big trades. Stars wanted Lehtonen and gave up there #1 d prospect for him. Thrashers wanted Ladd and gave up Vish who fits the type of dman the Hawks are stockpiling (Young offensive , good skaters , etc)

And Kruger is a pretty good prospect who has played well in SEL

Those are my disagreements with your post

Chicago would have to add significantly more.

Actually not bad value IMO. With the Oilers being in the middle of a rebuild I can't see them making the deal, though the 1st is tempting.

Fixed it for you.
MPS wont be traded. Huge upside and fits into our rebuilding plan perfectly. I don't see the Oilers making any significant trades for a couple years. The cupboard is full

It's not bad value but EDM still doesn't do it based on the fact MPS is the best piece of the deal and he's not available.

why would chicago trade so much depth for a prospect when they have a comparable one in morin? i heard they were trying to win some silver trophy or something...

I have seen Krugar play and disagree

Vish by all reports was exposed last season as someone who is having trouble playing with the big boys

both deals he was involved in were done at the end of a gun. Hawks were desperate to move LAdd and thrashers were told by the goalies agent he was not going to sign another contract with the thrashers--so saying he was involved in two big trades helps his value--they were both shot gun trades and for me those are dump trades. The key to the Ladd deal was the second rounder the hawks got and not the playeer

Thats the first I've heard that Morin is comparable to Paajarvi. Why would Edmonton trade a top 10 prospect for a bunch of average players?
