Chicago-Vancouver

Would never happen and I'm happy with Turco but just wondering if the value is there.

Chicago
Luongo ($5,333,333 cap hit)
Bieksa ($3,750,000 cap hit)
9,083,333 total

Vancouver
Campbell ($7,142,875 cap hit)
Crawford ($800,000 cap hit)
Hendry ($600,000 cap hit)
8,542,875 total

I threw in Hendry to make it as close in cap space as I could.

the difference between campbell and bieksa is nowhere near the difference of luongo and crawford. the fact that campbell has one of the worst contracts in the league makes me say that gillis would never consider this deal

Even a month or two from now when Soup comes back, Schneider was tearing it up and Luongo was playing medicore?

You create way too many unrealistic trade proposals. This thread will turn into another blackhawks bash-fest, with people telling how overpaid Campbell is and how blackhawks are handicapped in the long term due to his albatross contract.

It's just for fun and last I checked, nobody likes Luongo and his contract is damn near as bad as Campbell's.

I may not be a huge fan of either Luongo or his contract, but it's nowhere near as bad as Campbell's. This deal is ridiculous and makes no sense for Vancouver.

Fair enough then, but I think if the Canucks do decide to trade Luongo, they'll find that they'll absolutely be taking bad salary back.

Campbell's contract may not be the greatest, but it's nowhere near the worst in the league. He's overpaid, yes, but he helps win us a lot of games.

To be honest I prefer Campbell on our D then someone like Luongo in nets

And we cant be hampered by another longterm contract like that and it also eats up cap space this year further limiting us

So in my opinon

Campbell + Crawford + Hendry is better to have then Luongo and Bieksa

I guess you only check after bad games have fans yelling that Luongo is overrated? I think most people are happy with him and his 9th highest cap hit among goalies.

No ****ing way, I do not want Luongo anywhere near Chicago. I want to actually win a cup again in the next 10 years. I would prefer Campbells contract over Luongos any day.

Luongo is having a poor October and had 2 bad series vs Hawks over last 2 years

I would say calling him a cup of piss is a little bit much

You must be forgetting last April when he let in 17 goals in a 6 game series. But, you're right in a way, he really starts to fold the further he get's into the playoffs.

This was bound to end badly. Though, in my honest opinion:

Campbell > Luongo.

Yeah, I said it.
