I notice this on our PP too

This team has gone through major slumps the last 2 years and have turned out ok. Six games in, no reason to think this is nothing more than a slump.

In fact, this slump is happening earlier than usual, which is when I would prefer them to be slumping (vs. December/January).

No way, dude. They're inconsistent and Bobrovsky is a bum. We need a real goalie, he's just not any good.

I love how everyone around here is on a pendulum swinging from one extreme to the other.

(For the record, I agree with you and this is all me being facetious.)

I do not see that people are panicking but goaltending, penalties and effort have been problem after 6 games into a new season.

I just wanted to come in and say somthing about the "BOB" hate going on. That last goal was weak. But up until that point, the kid had made some spectacular saves, especially the 2nd period.
I feel like the kid is definetly talented enough to be a top notch goalie, but he is so young and inexperienced right now. I think its unfair what the flyers are asking of him, but he has been up to the task for the most part.
Inconsistencies are going to be a theme for him this year, especially in the early part of the season, just get use to it.

Also just one last thing. Though we outshot the ducks by a wide margin, i feel their quality of shots were much better than ours. THere were numerous times where players were left in front of the net unattended, the Getzlaf goal comes to mind.

And last, Mezaros has been our best player so far this year, and certainly our best defenseman. WE would be lost without him right now.

Richards wont be moved. For Carter i would want a top 6 winger(dotn feel like looking for potential names right now) hopefully with size. Another complimentary player and pick/prospect. I realize the flyers are moving the better player probably, though you still can improve your team. If that other player were a dman then you can consider possibly moving one of the other dman for another piece to the puzzle. IMO they need to be on diff teams for the better of both of them long term.

Sweet. Then Shelley can get more ice time and Carcillo won't be a scratch.

Hartnell-Briere-Leino
Carcillo-Richards-Zherdev
JVR-Giroux-Nodl
Shelley-Betts-Powe

I said we as in the team (you know, as in Im a fan who pays going to games and such). I love people that say that. Nice argument there NWO

But yea, your saying we should trade Richards and/or Carter, two guys who are heavily dependent on this team. You truely think we will do well without them?

what argument, all i did was ask you a question. i love when people think they are part of the team. I been paying for 25 years, sorry doesnt make me feel part of the team.

I am not saying you give them away for scraps. Yes depending on the return i absolutely think they would do well without one of them.

From what I have seen, ALOT of fans say we. I say we for eagles and all the Philly teams....but really, who the **** really cares (other then you I guess)?

I think Richie is harder to replace. He isnt doing so well right now, but I wouldnt just trade him. Carter I think I would be up for trading. Hartnell on his game is very good. He will always take penalties, nothing you can do about it, but a Hartnell who plays hard and rough while contributing offensively is very usefull for the team.

I highly doubt the move or even consider moving richards at this point.

Sure you can, he either follows the gameplan or he sits, or you ship him out. Most of his penalites are so avoidable it is sad really. Still would like to know how guys of his ilk get paid the $ they do. Clearly not worht it imo.

What a joke. Every time someone calls you on your verbal diarrhea, you refuse to actually show a logical conclusion to the crap you spew.

Just once, I'd love to see you not only spout off some useless hypothetical, but actually do ANY legwork behind demonstrating why you think you're right.

All you do is sit back, insult people for not sharing your opinion, and proclaim yourself to have some grand insight without ever showing a scrap of support as to why you think that way.

Do you behave that way in other areas of your life, too? You must be terrible at writing persuasive essays.
