i agree having another top scorer would be super. but our young guys are good. Feds was a great pick up on the cheap and plays with a lot of heart. Stepan is gunna be the next Savard, it's only gunna take quicker for him to get there, Duby and Cally are good players and them playing with Anisimov tonight turned me on. Anisimov can play first line any day, he's developing into a great player. i think tonight was a good win against an undefeated team and we might take this and run with it. let's not forget our backup who is solid and his name isn't Valiquette. i think we can win some games especially once Frolov gets on his game.

So i guess you don't like dubi or rozy.
If you traded rozy and gilroy, our defense would be even worse. Dubinsky has been one of our best forwards this year, and is homegrown. The line of AA, cally, and dubi looks great, so i do not know why you would wanna trade him.
I also believe rozy is one of the most underrated defensemen on our team.
It would be great to trade for a #1 center, but not for that cost.

DO NOT give up the youth for an older guy, we have 2 very good centers that are young in stepan, and AA. If we could get a good #1 vet great, but again, not for rozy and dubi.

I see what you're saying, but these are deadline deals. If Dubinsky drops his play around the deadline I'd trade him. No way should they trade him this early.

Well, I guess that'll kinda kills the confusing...

Except... Why would we give up guys for players we can just sign in the offseason?

I wouldn't trade for anybody now.

If we trade rozy and gilroy our defense would be

Staal, girardi, MDZ, sauer, eminger, Mcd, and Valentenko..

Although I love sauer a lot and think he IS nhl ready, Mcd and Val are not. It would be an even weaker defensive team and Hank would not be happy.

I think Valentenko is ready, same with McDonagh. No it would not be the strongest defense, but they would still have Staal, Girardi, MDZ, Eminger, Sauer. That's still five of the original roster players, and Sauer will be much better by then.

Rangers Traded Bobby Sanguinetti to Hurricanes for 2010 sixth round pick (#157-Jesper Fasth), 2011 second round pick (?-?) on 2010-06-26

Must have site for any armchair GM: http://www.prosportstransactions.com...y/DraftTrades/

Still a bit early to figure out who's going to be a buyer/seller by the deadline. Wouldn't shock me if Dallas resigned Richards, and I think there was a rumor that Montreal was close to extending Markov soon.

Gilroys good I think his only problem is he has to learn how to balance playing offense and defense. When he can do both good he is an effective player.

Eminger has got to go, he stinks. We need to keep rozy for a vet down there. Sauer has been good and I think will be good, I do not mind gilroy much either. Maybe next year we might not need rozy if Mcd and Vtank are ready, but I think a year down low will be good for them.

I don't think Rozi is a helpful veteran on defense, but I see what you're saying.
