Agree ugly win, but playing pretty bad and still pulling out a win is definitely a positive thing.

Played a great first. Played a good second. Played good in the third till we scored, stopped trying to score, and let the Hurricanes have target practice on Bernier. Ugly win, but we'll take it.

Hopefully Doughty is okay!

Bernier looked shakey at best the first two periods but pulled it together in the 3rd.
Wait, I take that back about Bernier because the Kings "Team Defense" looked like the ECHL.

Shoulder-to-shoulder hit with a Hurricanes player in the 1st. Reported upper body injury. Hopefully it's a bruise.

A few more games like this and he'll be the new Cammy / scapegoat.

I liked what I saw of Bernier tonight. He played smart and didn't overcommit on several occasions.

Not a good game but a good win...and Lokti with the game winner.

Odd man rushes strikes upon us again....The PP is coming around slowly, but it will start working soon imo.

Defense (or who it might be) has to get better at the covering when someone is pinching.

Wasn't a pretty game but we got the win.

Bernier shutting the door when it matters, making those timely saves.

Lokti with a fluky goal to score his first of his career! Probably his best showing as well.

Zeus went 16 for 20 on faceoffs - 80%

Watching the replays of the goals, I can't really fault Bernier too much. He is so good positionally that when a player beats him with a great shot, it sort of looks "soft". The first 2 goals were laser wrist shots on 2-on-1's and the third was deflected up high and he just missed controlling it with the glove.

He was just amazing in the third, he makes tough saves look easy. That cross-ice one-timer by Corvo on the PP would have been in on a lot of NHL goalies, Bernier made it look routine.

Wow, just checked the standings and noticed that Chicago has already played 8 games.
