You want hockey loyalty? I am a Bruins season ticket holder. Back in October of 2007 I had a decision to make.. I had tickets to Game 2 of the World Series against the Colorado Rockies at Fenway.. just so happened to land on the same night as an early regular season Bruins game against the Chicago Blackhawks.. I wasn't about to pass up on some Original Six hockey. Bruins won, Chara broke Koci's nose, no regrets.
I think people trashing our fanbase is unfair and uncalled for. When the Boston Garden was gone, many old fans went with it. STHs got screwed when the team moved to the new building. Seats werent as good and the prices were higher. You'll see those old guys hanging around the bars watching the team, they just wont give Jeremy Jacobs their money.
I'd like to know what parts of Boston you were trying to talk hockey. You're not going to find locals downtown, south end, near the colleges, etc. Want to talk hockey? Head to West Roxbury, Charlestown, South Boston, Roslindale, Brighton.
I'm not talking bad about you guys but I've been to several Rangers games at MSG and have had a few funny moments including a guy asking me "how many cups have the Bruins won?!" -- i responded with "Five.. which is one more than the Rangers have.." -- he responds with "we won ours with more class!"

we all have the good and the bad
LOL not sure i would pick an early season hockey game over the world series!
"I used to pray for good things . I used to ask the Hockey Gods for puck luck for the NYR .
Now all I want is Torts the smug stupid goatee clown to be fired , . I hate Torts . Please hockey gods make him get fired. Please Sean punch him in face" -- Dorado

But I am 100% honest when I say the story would be different if the same situation had happened in 2004..
Wish I didn't have work tonight, always love a good Bruins/Rangers game (although they always seem to finish 1-0). Tonight as usual will be determined by a man between the pipes. Enjoy!
whats up with seguin so far? anyone seen him play?
I saw him a bit in the Bruins-Devils game. He made some nice plays, especially on the game-winning goal, where he made a beautiful spinning pass in the neutral zone to Michael Ryder.

Not much of a factor from shift to shift, as Caron has been for the Bruins so far. But give him some open ice, open teammate, or an open shot, and he will wow you with some skills. Rangers should watch their line changes when he's on the ice because he really has a nose for finding the seams and busting open on a vulnerable defense.

Seguin is good, but he is NOT a generational talent or franchise player such as Crosby/Ovechkin/Malkin/Stamkos.
