Nobody has cared about football in Toronto since the 1950s.

You've never been to the Shoe. It dominates. It's huge and it isn't a cheap facility.

FTR, because this kinda ties into the other thread, it would be nice if the NHL didn't have to do this stuff. If the minor leagues were consolidated under NHL direction they could very easily create a grassroots network of youth programs in partnership with USA Hockey, and probably accelerate the process greatly.

But the reality is, minor league hockey has been in pretty much every market for at least 40-50 years and barely made a dent. They're just not stable enough, and quite often they're run by the Boots Del Baggios of the world who couldn't care less about the state of the sport.

The solution is even simpler than that. I don't know where you are or whether you have an NHL team, and frankly, I just don't care. I have Ohio State and NFL football AND NHL hockey.

I'm happy.

We have something in common. I don't care about the Argos at all. Of course I also don't care about the Leafs either. I think the Burkie show is a comedy act.

But if I'm not mistaken it uses bleacher seating, meaning the prices are cheaper than if there were individual seats (i.e., much lower capacity)

It uses both types. It also has a huge number of hyper-expensive luxury suites.

Limit reached. (And the threshold of moderator minds.)

Unless there is breaking news, let's table attendance discussion for now.
