piqued? In a Turco jersey? I highly doubt that.

And anyone else notice the 3 on the front is missing, but then reappears in the next shot? I guess it's from two separate games and he lost a number somewhere in between.

It's just hidden in the folds of the jersey, or the curvature of his belly. I can't tell.

Did anyone read that Cowlishaw Stars-are-becoming-irrelevant article behind the DaMN paywall? I have a certain morbid curiosity about it.

Saw this article posted on Facebook written by Ralph. Thought it was interesting considering how candid he is at some points while still remaining optimistic about this team. I think it is worth a read.

It was typical Cowlishaw. He lays out his hockey credentials in the first couple of paragraphs and then basically said what anybody watching the situation could have: the Stars need to make the playoffs to stay top of mind in the collective conscious of the city. He says even a four and out against Vancouver would be better than nothing. The headline pretty much covered the gist of the article.

On top of that, that guy looks like he's in a good mood.

Marginally better, but not a whole lot better. The fanbase would rather hear of a new owner and the team getting better- either going down the rebuild way or getting the defensive additions we need, maybe even include retaining Richards.

I'd take a four and out getting blown out in every game over missing the playoffs 10 out of 10 times.

Playoffs >>>>>> Missing Playoffs

Amen to that. Especially after the past two years and how this year was suppose to get and all.

It's like there's inertia that builds up with regard to the playoffs. When things are going well and rolling along you just make it every year as a matter of course. But when you're on the outside it seems like you'll never get back in.

Can we get a 1st for Richards rights from someone if we don't have a new owner? Didn't Philly give up a first for someone's rights last summer?

Keeping Richards is just another Newy miscalculation. Asiminov straight up would have been ahuge get. We will be lucky to recoup the Lagenbrunner second and likely not that. Richards is going to Tor or NYC or sickly LA -

As bad as Newy has been, Crawford is worse-His defensive pairings , his riding Lehtonen for 17 straight, his love of Petersen and Barch at the expense of Segal , sitting Fistric to give karlis the flopping Pylon , his terrible and ever changing line combos , his love of the fourth line after goals which resulted in at least 3 quick equalizers -uggh-wake me up when we have areal owner/gm/coach
