Going into the draft? Well at the time there was no issue with Russians so I would say Radulov again.

Agreed. Radulov is still the best player from this group, even though he doesn't play in NA any more.

But I doubt we even pick Wolski or Zajac if Radulov wasn't there. Chipchura sounds like a player Poile would select

At the time Radulov was said to have the best offensive talent in the draft next to Ovechkin. The only reason he dropped was because of questions about his attitude.

The pick was a steal in terms of talent, but in hindsight it seems that the teams who passed because of the mental side of Radulov were smart for doing so.
