The logo isnt great.

The leaders and legends things could be better.

But the Stagg-Paterno championship trophy? I love JoePa, but dude has exactly 3 big ten championships, two shared.

Would've rather swapped names with the coach of the year award: Hayes-Schembechler

Dont get me started on all the hyphenated names.

Any truth to the rumor they hired the same firm that gave us Boomer?

ahhhh that's it...most of their time was taken up researching boomer, they then realized they were on a Big10 timeline and thus...this happened...makes total sense now!

Most impressive streak in sports, with how violent football is, its truly amazing. Unfortunately, as most do, he waited to long and got on everyones nerves....but the fact that he's played EVERY week since 1992, is unbelievable

The names for everything else is appropriate enough. Really no problems with them.

But at Legends and Leaders.

56 is more impressive to me, but congrats to Brett on 297, now get on with it and retire.

Any chance of the Phillies passing the Yankees as the poster boy for payroll disparity in MLB?

Dont get me started on all the hyphenated names.

I hate "Legends and Leaders", I think Spielman had an interesting idea in the "Great Lakes and Great Plains" and I hate the hyphenated trophy names

I hate that they split the Divisions with no sense of Direction (although I do understand it makes it easier if they add more schools), Outside of Nebraska joining, I've hated everything about this expansion so far.

Legends and Leaders? Come on. Those are beyond awful. They MUST have hired the Boomer firm.

And all the hyphenated trophies...I bet you some Michigan or Ohio State diehard is going to get pissy at putting Woody and Bo on the same trophy.

Griese-Brees sounds like it should be acne medication. Get rid of those zits and smell great with Greasy Breeze!

And the new logo, by the way...I thought the "Hidden 11" was better.

I don't mind it, it harkens back to the times when the rivalry was front page news in every sports section across the country and at the same time, the closeness of two, But always remember, its the Hayes-Schembechler, not the Schembechler-Hayes....

The Logo is absolutely awful....

Too little too late. As if on the field play doesn't embarrass the conference enough.

it honestly sounds like Delaney thought about this for a few weeks or something then said something on a conference call about a vote for it.

I understand it will be easier to attract certain schools without a geographical breakdown in the conference, but based on how this whole thing has gone so far, I'd say it would've been just easier for an East/West.

Delaney needs to be focus testing everything that comes out of these meetings... period.

East
Penn State
Ohio State
Michigan
Michigan State
Purdue
Indiana

West
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Iowa
Northwestern
Illinois
Nebraska

That's exactly how I see it KW. This setup looks fairly even to me in both football and basketball, so I just don't understand what the problem could be. What am I missing?

Scuttlebutt says that basically, as a trade off of still keeping the OSU-Mich game the last of the regular season (Arguably what OSU wanted), Michigan got its way by not being in the same division as OSU.

Possible, certainly since Mich AD Brandon had openly questioned before the announcement if the game should remain the last on the schedule.

But If anything, Jim Delaney kind of put his foot in his mouth when he said Legend and Leaders was because he didn't want to narrow the names down to two of the most recognizable figures in Big Ten history as basically the Big two, plus 10, then went and put them in Separate divisions that still allowed the loser of The Game to possibly be in the Big Ten title game.

I'll say it again, Aside of Nebraska being the team joining , Delaney has totally "F-ed" this up so far.
