Are we still blaming Ilya for our last 2 games. Just wondering...
Marty's fault.
Parise sucks.
Kovy's cap hit handicapped us.
Lou's lost his touch.
Langenbrunner is garbage.
White can't see.
No fans.
Elias is soft.
Rookie d-corp has o positioning.
------
Did I miss anything?

Inexplicably, people have gone full circle on Rolston and are now back to liking him. I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder, because we can't remember how bad he was.

It was the wink. It made you feel all warm and speshul inside. We need that now - like a big soft hug from the team.
Kovalchuk is playing fine, the team around him is not stepping up and competing at a higher level to start winning games.
It's simple, guys like Clarkson, Langenbrunner, and Elias just don't care anymore for whatever reason and when you combine that with a **** D you lose every single game.

How the hell does Clarkson not care anymore? He plays tough every night. His only problem is that he's not getting any points. All I see Langenbrunner doing is getting ****** penalties at bad times.
While not a fan of his cap hit, I've always been a Rolston fan. Even followed him after he was dealt prior to the 2000 Cup.
He's a good player. A $5 million player? No. But you also don't put a guy with his skill on the 3rd and 4th lines. I've been saying this for two seasons now. Put him on the 2nd or 1st lines with steady linemates, and Rollie will produce.

Your opinion, while not popular amongst the masses, is shared by a few of us. or make that a
Well according to the dumb ass behind me at the 6-1 debacle...Zubrus is awful and should never be on the ice. I wanted to round house kick him in the face, even more so than the Sabres fans talking **** all around us.
Oh and something you actually did miss....Clarkson can't do ANYTHING at all, except for take awful penalties.

Some idiot by me the other night was I screamed for Clarkson to get off the ice says this: "Why do you want him to get off the ice, he's the only one actually playing and has our only shot on goal". I looked up, we had 4 shots on goal.
If he's late for meetings and (from what mark Everson wrote today) this wasnt the first time, then he needed to be scratched Saturday and once more, I think he's wasting our money.
I can see him getting tired of NJ and vise verse really fast. I can also see us loaning him out in a few years to the KHL and having them pay his entire salary.

I've been saying this for a while now, a team needs to learn to lose before you can learn to win.
I'm hopeful that's what's happening now.
I just posted something like that in the we suck thread. If you they can get out of this, it will be an incredibly strengthening thing for the eventual playoffs.
