Lehtonen bit way too hard on that shot fake by Visnovsky.

the LA game might be the time to debut Raycroft

fight right back Dallas!

There you go Skrastins, bludgeon it directly into the person in front of you.

pull Lehtonen.

give him some rest, let Raycroft close out the game. It's not his fault but he's not on his game either.

That's absurd, he's not going to be pulled for giving up 3 goals.

why not? Give him some rest in a game the Stars are likely to lose. If you pulled him now you could probably use him again against LA if you wanted.

You don't give up on a 3-1 game unless you want to lose the room for the rest of the year.

pulling the goaltender doesn't equate to giving up on the game. Raycroft is absolutly capable of holding it togather for half a game and it shakes the team up and maybe gets them back to playing the way they were in the 1st.

Nice assortment of lazy passes that get cleared and shots that don't get through from Niskanen on this PP.

What happened the last time Raycroft came in during a game?

ok so we can't put Raycroft into a game ever

better not start him, because that will signal to the room that we're giving up on that game and they'll all tune out the coaches and things will go to ****.

I rather Larsen was up here making the same mistakes. At least I would have some hope he would learn from them. Niskanen has not/is not improving

I don't know why I'm even responding to you, you're clearly not thinking. What you're proposing is not how actual hockey games work.

Nice offsides generated by Niskanen's "rush".

Niskanen is making it impossible to defend him.

The mention of Zubov earlier has me nostalgic.

Brendan Morrison has a PPG and a SHG, maybe we could bring him back to solve the special teams problems?

Well it'd at least stop Razor gushing over Niskanen.

Lehts just showed the first flashes of a chink in his armor. I think it would be a poor showing to yank him now.

The softy is already in. Lehts is still a far superior goalie to Raycroft. Let's see how he reacts. Bounce back or slide?

If we don't score more than 1 vs the Ducks who have worse defense then us thats embarrasing.

Gary Roberts talking with Razor. Roberts says that his main mission will be to build relationships with the coaching staff, players, and prospects both here and in Cedar Park. He wants to put an emphasis on nutrition and offseason preparation. He makes the distinction between simply increasing bulk and increasing speed/power through off-ice training. Apparently Stamkos only gained 3 pounds since Roberts started working with him, yet made huge strength gains.

god dammit, i had no expectations going into the pre season, and was going to be able to accept losing well,

but the first 10 days of the season gave me hope and grew some expectation..

but its looking like that newly found expectation (for playoffs) will lead to disapointment
