This is all I've seen/heard so far...hopefully it's nothing serious.

Andrew Gross live blog:

7:42 Third period: Rangers say Artem Anisimov is not playing due to unspecified injury, not because of a coach’s decision.
He's been having such a good year, would be a shame to break up that momentum, both for him personally and for the Dubinsky-Anisimov-Callahan line overall.

Considering the Lundqvist-less lineup tonight, it can be argued that Anisimov and Rozsival are the last players this team can afford to lose.

Yeah and MSG will only show 1:25 of it instead of the whole thing.

Anisimov shot off ankle. Needs an MRI. Rozsival hyper-extended knee but should be OK.

That sounds like either a were-in-the-clear or were-****ed situation for Anisimov.

If Anisimov is out. I hope Dubinsky and Stepan are our top 2 centers.

imho i think id rather Ek-stepan-boyle-white down the middle. i dont think stepans ready for the first line and i think he'll be the best fit between cali and dubi. i also dont want to ruin cali and dubi's chemistry on the wings. if anisimov is out their in a rly ****ed situation. not having drury prospal and gabby u can deal with but now u dont have one legit top 2 centers.

Dubinsky has played great. Longterm he should play left wing. You hate to move him when he is playing so well. But if Anisimov is out. I think they have to move him to center. Frolov-Dubinsky-Callahan should be the top line.

I'd rather see Dubi stay on the LW with Stepan and Boyle alternating shifts or something like that.

Dan Rosen of NHL.com tweets that Anisimov thinks he will be okay, but was walking with a noticeable limp

http://www.snyrangersblog.com/2010/1...rextends-knee/

Edit: Here is the actual quote:

Anisimov said he a shot hit him between bones on the outside of the ankle in the second period and the pain grew worse and worse so he couldn't play in the third. He's hopeful that he'll be fine, but he was limping noticeably as he walked out of the arena.

Don't think the limp is an indication of anything being serious or not- i've gotten hit in the ankle (playing football..don't play hockey) and haven't been able to walk without a limp after for a little bit, but then I was fine a day or two after. I understand it can be different cuz it's a puck and it can easily break bone, but I personally won't take anything out of the limp.

Here's hoping he's okay!

Here's hoping he's fine.

Stepan needs a night off, not top-6 minutes.
